Excellent experience! - The service was excellent from the guides and the captain gave us a lot of important information as well as kindly answered any questions. We had the opportunity to go down twice to see the whale always looking for safety. Something excellent adapted the route so we could get to know the island better. We highly recommend it and will return to them permanently.

100% must do - Amazing experience and amazing guide and captain. We got picked up at 645 and went out searching for whale sharks. It is about a two hour ride to the area, we found them around noon and were able to swim with huge manta rays and saw giant sea turtles while searching. If you get motion or car sickness I recommend taking dramamine or gravol around 630am. And either have breakfast before going or bring some snacks. Waterproof bag for belongings highly recommended. Super worth the trip. The whale sharks are amazing!!! We also stopped on an island for awesome guacamole and drinks you can buy at a palapa bar. Our captain was Odin and our guide was Chris. Very dedicated and knowledgeable people in ensuring we had the best experience. Chris takes awesome videos and him and Odin are both really fun! Thank you both for an unforgettable day!

Incredible day with whale sharks and giant manta rays - It was a spectacular day. They picked us up a little later than the agreed time but other than that everything was perfect. We sailed for about 2 hours until we found the whale shark and we were lucky enough to also find a pair of manta rays that were equally or even more spectacular. Then we went to Cabo Catoche to eat a delicious ceviche. 100% recommendable!

Whale Shark Tour - This was awesome. We got so close to the whale sharks. It was amazing. The tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable, and made sure that we were able to see the sharks. The homemade ceviche was amazing. We ate this while the boat was beached at the mangroves. The tour guide said that sometimes there are flamingos to be seen â not this time though. And, we saw a giant sting ray while we were snorkelling. It was an awesome trip that my family and I will never forget.
We just wish that we could get some photos from the guide. We didnât take any camera with us.

An adventure - Trip was amazing and definitely worth doing. It was a little different then I imagined but still a great experience. The boat ride out is intense. It is 2-3 hours to get to the whale sharks at a fast pace and very bouncy on the boat! Not good if you have any back or neck issues. The smirking with sharks was awesome, but also intense as it is incredible to see, but you are swimming fast to keep up with it and the guide! The 2nd snorkeling stop was nice to get off boat longer and swim around, but nothing noteworthy to see. A few basic fish and a ray for us. Lunch was great and relaxing! Whole day ended up being about 8 hours. If you have the time and are up for the adventure, do it!

Amazing experience! - From the pickup at our hotel to the swimming with a whale shark everything was great. Bambino met us at the dock with a fistbump and an are you ready! The boat ride was about 2 hours but we stopped a few times to see sea turtles? They (sorry I forgot the captains name) pointed out fyling fish and told us the history of what we were passing. The highlight was swimming with the whale sharks though. They were great at getting us lined up with the shark as it headed directly towards us then told us to jump in so that we had the best point of view with this amazing fish, mouth open, swimming right at us then turn and swim side by side with us. Bambino was right there videotaping it all with his go pro and pointing and telling us where to go. Amazing experience which Bambino then shared our videos with us! Back on the boat for about an hour to a spot where we snorkled, saw lots of fish and a huge green eel! On to shore from there for some really good ceviche and a nice rest and back to Holbox. Great experience which I highly recommend with this company!

Do you seriously want to see whalesharks this badly? Then yes, it's worth it. - So i'll preface by saying we did not see whalesharks - I can't say if that would change my overall feelings regarding this excursion or not! But I can say that I have done A LOT of "trekking to see this animal"-style tours and this was hands-down the most onerous of them (even ones where you are walking!). The speedboats are speedy and move through choppy water - this results in lots of drops (hence why there's a specific warning for people with spinal injuries!) and even if it's super fun for the first 2 hours - it's not fun for the last 4! And, even if you are good with the bucking bronco boat (whee!) there are then long periods where you are just slowly bobbing in the ocean circling while your guide and driver are checking the GPS / Apps to find spottings, etc. "Sandwiches" provided were (as expected) white bread and ham, we'd paid extra for guacamole and chips (as I'm a vegetarian), but that wasn't available until the lunch break (after 6 hours). Let's just say that being hangry, nauseous, in pain, and so so hot, not great.
We did see manta rays and sea turtles, also flying fish! But looking at them was a choice, and in the end - not the best of them (for the nausea!). I can say that our driver and guide did everything they could to try to locate a shark for snorkeling - but it's a big ocean and that's how it goes sometimes!
We'd originally booked in for a second tour - but you can absolutely book in last minute and i would do so in the future!

Not What You Think It will Be - It was an experience to see the whale sharks in the water, but the amount of boats surrounding this amazing animal made me cringe and feel pretty bad about the experience. There were boats from Isla Holbox, Cancun and Isla Mujeres and it was just too many boats around them. It was like we were harassing them just to get a good look. The whale that we were around went underwater and didn't come back up and I did not blame them. The tour itself was fine, the boat captains were nice, but I would not recommend this to anyone. Nothing wrong with the company, just not okay to harass wildlife because I want to see something up close.

Actually being in the... - Actually being in the water with these gentle giants. I would probably eliminate the stop on the island for crevice.

Not again! - We really wanted to see whale sharks because we were on Holbox during the season, so we booked this tour.
We were very disappointed!!
200⏠per person for 2 x 30 seconds of whale shark snorkeling.
The "reef" where we were afterwards was just as disappointing, nothing but lots of boats and small fish.
Unfortunately, there is no other way to see these animals like this, but I wouldn't book this tour again!
