Excellent Holbox Fishing Tours with Edie and His Team - Edie and his team run a top notch operation. Word of mouth is the best form of advertising, and we were sent Edie’s way by other travelers. We have now done multiple tours with him.
Quality equipment and boats, and great captains and staff.
Our family had a wonderful time on the fishing tours, which include incredible ceviche prepared fresh on the boat with the fish you just caught.
We have spent a good amount of time on Holbox and can confidently say Edie runs an excellent operation.

An awesome experience!!!... - An awesome experience!!! Willy our guide was fantastic, he was very friendly & knowledgeable. Everything went so smoothly, and we spent roughly 2 hours fishing, before we hung out at Punta Mosquito’s while Willy and the captain prepared our fresh (insanely delicious) ceviche!

Best Fishing - Eddie, our Captain was great! He knew right where to go. We caught 5 fish in the first 15 mins! We stopped at Punta Mosquito and he made the freshest ceviche I have ever had. Definitely recommend this tour!

Hand Fishing with Diego and Hector – Amazing Experience! - We had the most incredible time hand fishing with Diego and Hector! The experience was so much fun from start to finish. These guys are not only skilled but also made the entire adventure enjoyable and memorable.
We caught plenty of fish during the trip, and to top it off. They said we got lucky and we even pushed it one hour later that morning. Diego and Hector prepared fresh ceviche right there – hands down the best I’ve ever had! It doesn’t get fresher than that. Their expertise and friendly nature made the whole activity even more special. We got to see the sandbar at Punta mosquito, so beautiful!
If you’re looking for a unique and authentic experience, this is a fantastic idea. Highly recommend giving it a try if you have the time – you won’t regret it!

On top! - We are a group of 6 friends who have travelled the Yucatán and Quintana Roo. We did a fishing session in Isla Holbox.
Thank you to Willy and the captain for this day. The fishing grounds allowed us to fish beautiful fish that they prepared for us in ceviche, one of the best we ate in Mexico. Stopping at a protected site allowed us to see a whole fauna including pink flamingos (which we did not see much elsewhere during our trip to Mexico). Willy is a native of this island and it is exciting to talk with him.

Fishing Adventure in Holbox, QR Mexico - Eric and Eddie, guides started us bottom fishing using traditional hand line and cut bait method. caught lots of fish within the fish hour. They also accommodated my stated preferred method of fly fishing. They however stated the area we are in as well as the season is not considered ideal for fly fishing. We moved closer inshore to an area where there's a chance for catching fish using flies. I was able to get a strike but failed to hook a good size fish. Never the less the experience was both exciting and satisfying. Both Eddie and Eric prepared Ceviche we all enjoyed! I highly recommend this outfitter if you are visiting Holbox.

Best day on Holbox :) - Willy and Pablo were just amazing! Willy was so knowledgeable and kind. Pablo made incredible ceviche and captained the boat perfectly. The fishing was so fun and exciting. It was our best day in Holbox and every time I am on this island I will want to do this. I will dream about the ceviche for a very long time :)

Great fishing with Eric and Eddy - 3 of us went on a fishing tour with Eddy and Eric, both great guys who knew their stuff.
Bare in mind the fishing is not done with rods, you use only a line with bait and hook on the end, at first we were worried but it turned out to be a great way to fish, very unique and traditional. The two guys are happy to answer any questions and love a bit of craic. They're also very conscious of the environment and clearly love the land and treat it with respect which is great.
Definitely recommend the trip, the ceviche made with fish we caught is the perfect way to to finish the trip.

Great day on the water! - Was a great day ok the water, caught fish, made fresh ceviche on the beach. Good weather and good food, ended at Cabo catouche for lunch before heading back. Would recommend!
