You need to see Contoy Island! - This was amazing! This Contoy island is a natural wonder that you don't want to miss! Tour guides were super knowledgable, the boat ride was awesome and the crew made the entire trip a blast!

Must-see if you like the sea - For those who enjoy the sea, speedboat ride, great, but you get wet and sensitive people got dizzy. You arrive at a paradise spot, Contoy Island, with very few people, great lunch grilled fish cooked by the crew. The turquoise sea, without waves, ideal for swimming and snorkeling. On island women a lot of people, but I went to buy souvenirs

Excellent - Excellent excursion and guides. Contoy Island is amazing, the boat trip was very good and then we went to Isla Mujeres which, this is personal appreciation, I did not love. I was sorry we couldn't snorkel.

It was OK but... - The beach was great. Clear water, the tour was awesome but, you must definitely take repellent for mosquitos. Otherwise, they'll eat you alive. NO KIDDING. It's a virgin island so, no drinking water, no running water so the bathrooms were awful. They could find a way to have them clean somehow. You're not allowed to take glass bottles but we saw some people from other tours with beer bottles so, yeah, maybe a little bit more control. Don't let this island become like Isla Mujeres!

Long day but so glad I went - The crew was fun and created a party atmosphere. Be aware of this in case you’re looking for a quiet ride. It’s also a long day. From the time of hotel pickup to return, I was gone 12 hours. Isla Contoy was amazing. The stop in Isla Mujeres made me a little uncomfortable as a solo traveler. Lunch was meh.

Good tour - I really did love this tour. However, there were a few snags that kept it from being a 5 star. The locations were not a problem. In fact, Isla Contoy was beautiful as was snorkeling in the reef. We have 1 hour on Isla Mujeres which was not a lot of time to see much. Additionally, the meeting spot to return to the ship was inside a specific souvenir/jewelry shop. Once inside to see the "meeting spot", we were descended upon to look at jewelry, taste tequila and buy items at a discount. This too away from the 1 hour we had to be back to the boat. The boat ride to the reef and to Isla Contoy was beautiful and was a pretty long ride. I enjoyed the view and the sailing of course. After a wonderful day, it ended on a bit of a sour note. More than half of the boat was English speakers. The boat crew was asked if the (loud) music could include perhaps some familiar English-language party songs like the way over. They said "Sure, we have songs in English as well as French too. Then they ignored the request because the crew was dancing and having fun. Which was all well and good but I paid for us to enjoy the tour. After asking a couple of times and nothing changed, I gave up. I guess as long as the crew has fun, what does it matter if the paying customers have a good experience.

Beutiful places but the trip is too rushed - The staff was really nice and caring. But the trip is not worth the price meaning that the time spent at Isla Mujeres and Contoy is very limited, most of it is spent sailing on the boat. The snorkeling is only in a large group of people where you have to continuosly follow the group and with a life jacket, so you can’t really enjoy amd take good pictures underwater. As soon as we landed at Isla Mujeres we had 1 hour only, so the time to go to the public beach and come back is not enough to find a spot on the beach and have a nice swim. After 1 and half hour sailing we reached Isla Contoy, just the time to have lunch and a quick look around was already time to go back on the boat. Again, beautiful places but the trip is too rushed from Cancun. I would recommend to just take a ferry to Isla Mujeres and stay the whole day or take a trip to Contoy only from Mujeres and go back there.

Good experience but Over-Rated - Getting away from mainland shore and the water is cleaner. We did see dolphins and turtles from the tour boat, but once we got in the water, the fish and aquatic life were minimal. (A smaller group may have been better.) And the ‘coral reef’ the guide took us to seemed non-existent. I did see the biggest turtle in the bay at Contoy island, but there were more fish and stingrays in the water at the beach on Isla Mujeres. The trip was OK, and we saw Hermit Crabs and Iguanas on Contoy Island, but spending an afternoon at Playa Norte on Isla Mujeres was more exciting for a fraction of the price.

You can do better - Sorry, but i can't recommend this tour or this company. In summary Isla Mujeres is a must see tour. Isla Contoy not so much. For our experience the transfer to the boat was in a old van crammed with every seat filled. Most of the tour time was spent traveling to and from Isla Contoy. The island itself is not worth it. It's a very small beach front with no amenities (think no flushing toilets). Pretty place, but you can see it all in 20 mins. Once we got to Isla Mujeres we only had 45 minutes to walk around. This could be partially due to the bad weather getting there. We have been to Isla Mujeres before and thought this would be a bonus. My recommendation is to ONLY tour Isla Mujeres where you can spend all of your time there. You can tour the island with local taxi, eat and have a great time on the beach. Much more worth it. Lastly, we had about 30 people on our boat. It was more like a ferry. You will have a much nicer time on a catamaran with a smaller group.
