10 out of 10 - Booking was simple, the price was fair considering that they picked you up and dropped you back to your hotel. As a solo traveler I was a little nervous to be going out in the middle of the night with strangers but the staff was really nice and reassuring. Never kayaked before, but it was not as bad as I thought. We made a mess of it but lots of laughs. The whole experience of sitting in the water looking up at the clear sky was a little surreal, like you're just floating. I would highly recommend this experience overall.

Great tour - Had a great time on this tour. Must say it was partly because we had 2 gals who didn't know each other share a kayak and they went in the wrong direction (accidently) multiple times. Hilarious. The guide was very patient and took care of them. We went 5 days after the new moon so it was quite dark. The lights from nearby accommodation spoil it a little. Going under the tarp when in waist high water was a highlight to cut the light completely and see the biolumonescence. Just a FYI what we saw was white, not blue, but still really cool. Night stars were nice too. I liked the pick up time of 830pm. Some tours were 10pm and that was going to be quite late for me personally. Got dropped off directly at our accom afterwards which was much appreciated. Recommended tour.

Magic trip - I've never experienced anything like this in my life. At first I was extremely afraid, but I didn't have to. The guide, Diego, was a friend with a lot of experience and knowledge. It was a magical experience I will never forget.

Unforgettable experience - This was fantastic, Gustavo our guide, has a lot of astronomical knowledge, because in addition to explaining the effect and science of bioluminescence connects it to the sky and its stars, “as it is above, it is below” HermesTrimegisto, Gustavo told us, and it is that the nights gave us the opportunity to even recognize the milky way. It is a unique and enriching experience, and I recommend doing it with a guide of this level to make it worthwhile. Many other reviews from other companies say to go it alone and that it is not worth paying for the tour, but honestly if you want to learn and truly connect with what this wonderful world gives you it is crucial that you contrast this tour and find the importance of knowledge and experience united. Thank you very much Gustavo!

A great experience - Wonderful crazy experience in great company. Never tried anything like it and I loved it. Looking at the milkyway while the sea was lighting and fish jumping around. Very good guides showing us all the stars and naming it. After an 45 min kayaking we stopped and swam in a shallow place while they talked about the alluminence.

Wonderful experience - Wonderful experience! Beautiful to see the bioluminescence at night. 2 people to each kayak. It is difficult to see at first, but the guide is very cautious and makes sure everyone is together. Easy trip out and back. Great experience. Would recommend!

Weather conditions made it quite challenging - I had a good idea of what to expect from bioluminescence and was really looking forward for the tour and seeing the stars. For general information, bioluminescence is not passively luminous, you have to agitate the water in order to see it. Having that said, the day we did our tour the sea was really moved and had waves, which made things difficult in the first part but extremely challenging on the way back. Gustavo did his best to help us and didn’t leave us alone in the scariest moments but i would recommend full disclosure with the attendees when it is possible that the kayaking part of it would be too challenging due to the sea conditions. On the day i experienced it, I would categorize this as an “advanced” kayak tour, for which you need lots of strength and experience. Also, it is about 1 hour rowing. Again, i feel that what impacted the most my experience was the weather which is no one’s fault, but guests should be advised accordingly. Gustavo and Ana were great and did their best in adversity, which i really appreciate… so thank you!!
