Jeep tour w/ Julio - Decent options on what you want to do, not where they want you to go. Julio allowed us to pick which stops to make and how long to stay

Best excursion in Cozumel - We’ve been to Cozumel 3 times and this was by far the best excursion we have been on our driver went above and beyond to take us to some of the most spectacular areas of the island that we have never seen before. He made it very personal and allowed us to plan out our day we would highly recommend this excursion to anyone!

Great day for 2 mature couples - We rode with our guide Bibi and she was wonderful. Prior to leaving Bibi asked us questions about what we were interested in and what we wanted to see and do. And along the way she gave us every opportunity to stop to shop or take photos or look at things or whatever we wanted or needed to do or see. When we registered for this activity none of us were sure what to expect, but we were pleasantly surprised at what we got - an air conditioned tour of the beautiful island of Cozumel with some great information provided by Bibi about local customs and culture it was a relaxing day. Luis was an excellent snorkeling teacher. He was patient and kind with us and I would not hesitate to go snorkeling with him again. Thank you Luis! Thank you Bibi!

Nice Jeep ride - We took the tour with Bibi as our guide. She is wonderful! She is very knowledgeable about the Mayan culture and history of Cozumel. She is kind and personable and fun! She guided us to vendors that were honest and did not haggle and asked us all throughout the day about our preferences and wishes to make our day what we wanted. She goes above and beyond to make sure her customers are happy. We also enjoyed Luis who taught the girls in our group to snorkel. I would recommend him as a teacher for anyone! He is great! Overall it was a very pleasant day and we left feeling like we made new friends in Cozumel.

Bit disappointing but still enjoyable - I’ll give negatives first and you can make your own minds up 1- the jeep in photo used to promote the trip is NOT what we got. Ours had certainly been round the block a million times with some very worrying ‘undercarriage’ noises implying the back wheel was about to come off. 2-So noisy that any conversation was near impossible. Also, Extremely difficult for my husband and I to get into. Yes, we are 60+yrs and not as mobile as most but we have traveled in jeeps before and they have a step to assist getting in. This one didn’t and to get in was at my hip height. My husband is also 6’5 ex rugby player and almost couldn’t squeeze himself into seat but managed with huge effort. So if you are at all less mobile or bigger than average don’t book. 3- have an idea what you’d like to do. We asked to see the ‘real Cozumel’ not touristy things but according to our guide the whole of Cozumel is set up for tourism so hard to find what we’d hoped for. She suggested a trip to a ‘village’ that explained the chocolate making process and then a tequila experience which we thought would be fun. But it turns out this is a ‘ show’ of Mayan Warriors describing their existence and how the cocoa bean was used as trade and how they made chocolate from it. It was interesting enough but at an extra $50 plus gift shop ‘guilt purchase’ it was an expense we hadn’t budgeted for. As a result of this staged touristy experience we cancelled the tequila trip! Now the positives 1- our guide Bebe was adorable helpful, kind and knowledgeable 2- the tribal trip was actually interesting so if you like history and ‘re-enactment” then this is up your street 3- lunch was decent and filling. (drinks cost extra) no beach as it’s a rocky coast so sat at chairs where we had lunch 4- LOADS of fish of all colours and size! We took food for them and were swarmed. Truly wonderful and totally made our day. All in, we did enjoy our day and many would give it 5 stars but for us I think a 4 is fair.

Pass on this excursion - Meeting location was incorrect - we eventually found them while giving up on finding them. Map showed them at a different location. We reserved 2 jeeps, but they put us in the same jeep. We asked to take the top off the jeep and were told NO. Our windshield was cracked, the A/C barely worked and the interior was dirty. There was no way for us to communicate with the driver - we wanted to stop on the "wild side" of the island but the driver kept driving. The tequila tasting was nice, but the price was $$$. Lunch and snorkeling were only ok. We skipped the snorkeling and had him take us back to the boat. The tour did stop at a store, but we didn't see anything interesting. I would advise you to NOT book with this company unless you want to just follow the lead car around and learn nothing about the city.

Not exactly as we expected - Wasn’t able to drive jeep, it was driven by tour guide. Last time we did similar tour we followed the guide in a jeep we got to drive. Missed out on seeing Mayan ruins, did not know we had to chose between chocolate tour or ruins. Also did not see lighthouse on tour. Felt we had less of a tour this time, your guide was friendly though

Disappointed - Nobody was ready for us at the location the directions stated. We had to have a tour guide from another company call. Then they stated they would be right there but we waited 45 minutes! When they showed up we had to walk 10 minutes to where he parked. Plus they expected 4 of us plus guide to ride in one jeep. We convinced them we needed another jeep, as the description states, so another 20 min delay. Finally got on our tour. If you remove all that we had a good time however I would not recommend based on all the delays and hassles! Never have had this happen with Viator.

Driver was a no show! - We were unable to locate the driver after several phone calls to customer service while at the cruise port. Requested a refund when I return from the cruise and was denied.
