My family and I had a... - My family and I had a beautiful experience on this tour with our guide, José Carlos. He is extremely knowledgeable, courteous and told us a lot about the islands history and answered all our questions. The island is absolutely beautiful and this was an amazing way to experience the many treasures it has to offer as well as have a delicious meal and some relaxing time on the beach. We enjoyed the tour immensely and would recommend it to others!!

A beautiful day with Leon Tours - We were in Cozumel with Mein Schiff 1 on 05 March 2026. Birgit had prepared all tours very well, so we were informed in time about details and procedure.
Our tour with Andrea was very fun. Before the tourist streams we were at the Mayan sites. Later in the national park, while swimming and at the lighthouse it was very quiet and few tourists to see. The tour was very informative and we learned a lot about history as well as country and people.
A big thank you to Andrea; happy to be back with Leon Tours.

If you come to Cozumel and really want to see something of this beautiful island, you can’t avoid Leon Tours. - We were in Cozumel in March 2026 with Mein Schiff 1 and had selected Leon Tours as our provider of choice in advance.
I would particularly like to highlight the great contact with Birgit. We already had the first questions several months before the trip (already in August 2025), as our youngest daughter is only 3 years old and could not be registered via the regular booking form. Birgit responded extremely quickly, friendly and uncomplicated every time. She not only advised us competently whether the tour was suitable for young children, but also found a very uncomplicated solution for booking.
Punta Sur National Park was an absolute highlight. Directly at the entrance we were greeted at the meeting point and assigned to our guide Pascal – not a huge group, but a small, personal round.
The tour was super nice and mega varied.
We have seen huge iguanas, raccoons, nose bears, barracudas, many great birds, crocodiles and beautiful beaches.
The children were thrilled from the first to the last minute!
What particularly impressed us: we were alone almost everywhere with our little group.
In Cozumel, five cruise ships were docked on our day. We benefited from getting out early and avoiding the hustle and bustle.

The natural side of Cozumel - Our tour guide, JC was helpful and knowledgeable about the history of Cozumel. The dirt road into the National Park was a bit bumpy, but JC drove with care. We saw Mayan ruins, the lagoon, lighthouse with museum and ended at the beach club where we swan in the beautiful water and enjoyed lunch. It was a great way to see the natural side of Cozumel for our first visit there.

You will not be disappointed. - The tour guide was amazing. JC (Jose Carlos). This was a private tour so I did not have to go with strangers. Not only was he very knowledgeable about the island. He was able to explain the history of the island. I saw crocodiles and wild pig. The restaurant at the beach was nice with plenty of lawn chairs and beach umbrellas. There were swings at the bar. And the drinks were very cute in pineapples and coconuts. There was a selection of tacos, fajitas, burritos. I got fish tacos, and it was very fresh and good. The service was incredibly fast. There is snorkeling also available with this tour guide. The water was so beautiful. I would do it again with the same Guide next time.

you must usually Leon tours when you go to Cozumel!! - first of all, this was one of the nicest and well planned day trips to Cozumel. First of all Birget was tremendously easy to communicate with on WhatsApp. He responded many times and made me feel at ease because I had never worked with him. He recommended we work with his trusted colleague JC who’s lived on Cozumel’s entire life. The entire trip was highly customizable to keep that in mind for example, if you want to spend more time, snorkeling or sightseeing or tequila tasting, they will accommodate.
Needless to say, JC was great. he spent seven hours with us and took us all around the island which included : historical perspective on the Mayan culture. Mayan ruins, stopping at beaches, including snorkeling, as well as tequila tasting. however he was willing to do anything we wanted to do, but we left the day in his capable hands. He’s been living on the island since he was a young man so he knows everybody.
The fee for service was very reasonable and I feel very comfortable very comfortable. Please be sure to tip JC as he made me and my daughter feel very safe. Bridget recommended we take one of the three most popular ferry services. It takes about 30 minutes to get to Cozumel from Playa Del Carmen.

Great memory of Cozumel - Leons Tours we can only recommend. We were on a cruise at the beginning of December and booked the excursion with Leon Tours with the National Park / Beach. The contact by email was great. A great directions to the meeting point at the port and also the punctual return to the port, everything worked out great. Especially the trip with Gerson was special, he told us so much about his country and also gave us time to look at everything in peace. The trip was in German.
When we are back near , we will definitely make a trip again with Leons Tours.
Lg from cold Germany and thank you for the lovely memories

Exceeded our expectations! - We had an amazing experience in Cozumel! JC and Felipe took us around the island and to a private beach. With the amount of tourists in town (including us), we were expecting the beach to be a little crowded. But it was mainly us and a few other people. The beach was absolutely gorgeous and the included lunch was fantastic. We were given snorkeling gear free of charge and enjoyed seeing fish and a stingray. We also saw the resident raccoon, a coatis (related to raccoons, never knew this animal existed), and many iguanas and birds. It was an ideal day that far exceeded our expectations.
JC and Felipe were gracious hosts, pivoting off of our schedule and not that of a large tour excursion. JC told us so much about the island and its history, including a fascinating story about a Mayan structure on the island. I can't recommend this tour enough, and especially JC and Felipe!
Get away from all the crowds and book this tour, you won't regret it!!!
