Private tour of the island of Cozumel - We signed up for this private tour so we wouldn’t have to be on a bus with several others. We got to customize our tour and our wonderful guide Irvin was friendly and knowledgeable about his Island. We went to a few places near the cruise pier and drove around the island. We went to a bee farm where we learned all about the stingless bees native to Cozumel. Tasted all the different honeys they make, tried vanilla from there plants they grow. And we made chocolate. He then took us to the other side of the Island to a local quiet beach where we had time to swing on the beach, have a shoulder massage and a delicious lunch. We tried local tequila, which was delicious. We ended up buying the chocolate and caramel flavored ones. We even got to hold an iguana, which I was nervous about, but they were soft and very relaxed. Then he took us to a Mayan cenote water well. These are natural sinkholes are formed by the collapse of limestone bedrock, exposing groundwater. They were sacred to the Maya as water sources. They were so big and deep that we saw people, snorkeling, and scuba diving in them. We also saw crocodiles being lazy in the sun. Highly highly recommend this tour in our guide. Irving was the best.

Excellent Tour Filled With Local History, Beautiful Sites and Delicious Food - Enrique was our tour guide and he was outstanding. He was very personable, tailored the tour to our interests, and also included many lesser known (to tourists) interesting stops. He had a wealth of knowledge about ancient Mayan culture and explained many of the historic Mayan statues and structures. He also provided a great tour of the seaside and local neighborhoods, beautiful churches, cemeteries and even a very rich introduction to the culture of burials and ongoing celebration of family members who have passed. The last part of our tour was to a beautiful beach and seaside restaurant where we enjoyed a relaxing lunch of fresh fish and fajitas, followed by a tequila tasting. What a wonderful day! Many thanks to Enrique for sharing so much history and his love of this beautiful island. We will be back to stay longer.

Great day in Cozumel! - We did a private Jeep tour with Irvin (Irving?). He was amazing! Safe driver, clean Jeep, and gave us excellent recommendations. We came because I wanted to take my son to Pueblo de Maiz after he studied the Mayans in school. It was awesome. Irvin also knew a lot about Mayan culture and told us interesting information. Irvin recommended this bee sanctuary nearby and that was fun and educational too! We asked for a lunch recommendation and he took us to a restaurant near the port that had great food and had a little play structure that our kids loved playing on while we were waiting for the food. We will definitely request him on our next port day in Cozumel!

We had a beautiful time! - Enrique spent 6 hrs with 4 of us. He was very accommodating, informative and fluent. He took us to points of interest. Not only did he he take us around the island, he also stopped at a chocolate factory...a place where you could buy and sample honey and we also stopped at a beach on the east coast of the island. Ask for Enrique to show you around. You won't regret it!

Great personalize experience with Diego. - We got to Cozumel on a windy day so i was so glad that i book this tour instead of snorkeling. Diego took us to the Maya Ruins as we requested and we learn a lot about the culture. Other stops have great drinks and snacks. We ended the trip with AMAZING TACOS and SHRIMP COCKTAIL. Highly recommend.

Great local guide, go to Bee Friendly Bee Farm - Very professional service. Responded quickly to my questions and concerns. Our driver, Charly, was very friendly and took our personal preferences to recommend some sights to see. We asked for something unique to Cozumel, and he took us to a local bee farm, which had a wonderful tour and lots of unique honey products. I highly recommend Bee Friendly and say hi to Noemi, she's the best tour guide. This Jeep excursion with guide is well worth the money!
