Catamaran, ceviche, and saxofón en el Cielo! - Excellent excursion. The service was incredible and the fresh ceviche was delicious. It was very well organized, the boat was sparkling clean, and the crew was super helpful and friendly. Great music selection and even a saxofón player amused us with his talent! He was part of the crew. Love coming to this area where the locals are so kind and friendly.

Disappointing "reef", great crew and boat - Boat and crew were amazing but the snorkeling was sub par at best - was expecting to see some actual coral reef but mostly just sand. Very disappointing as I've heard Palancar is a diversity hotspot and actually has coral??

Bait and Switch - Tickets are roughly $30 a person, which seems like a good price, until you find out that the fee pretty much doubles once you arrive at the dock - you have to pay 500 extra pesos per person for dock fees/taxes. The boat itself is ok - the young people that serve drinks and food work really hard. There is a middle-aged man, who’s like the tour leader and he went around offering chips to all the tables - everyone at our table took a bag of chips and then he said it was 280 pesos. He should have communicated that there was a charge for the chips before he offered them to us. The margaritas were cheaply made, they tasted like sour mix only. The beer was not in individual cans or bottles, it was served in reusable plastic cups and poured out of 40 oz glass bottles. Kind of trashy. They make a big deal about you wearing sunscreen or boat shoes, even though the email they send recommends you bring both. Not sure why people can’t wear reef-safe sunscreen? The music on board was so loud, you can’t even hear what the person next to you is saying. The experience of snorkeling was beautiful, just wasn’t a fan of the way this company operated the experience. They definitely have some room for improvement, especially if they’re expecting Americans to tip them.

Awful experience !! We were given no information on where to meet our boat or tour guide nothing at all we had called & - We called and could not get any information from trip advisor either so no information on where to meet our boat or guide from our ticket or trip advisor then we tried calling the name we saw on the ticket and no answer there either then we took a taxi to where the company name we saw and couldn’t find that so we went asking people around town that sell tours and were directed all over town until we finally found someone who said that they were operating a boat like ours same everything and said we were not in their system i showed them my ticket and they said it was their tour but we were not allowed to go even though I had tickets on my phone they said your not in our system so we can’t let you go we were left after all that time effort and expense with nothing we were tired frustrated and left with nothing not good !!!! I called trip advisor back and they said they would try to contact the tour company and I never heard anything more so I don’t even know if i will get a refund which is the least they could do after spending money on taxis and running all over town looking for my tour I will never ever ever do this again !!!!

Nothing beautiful to see - Bad experience! The meeting point is in the middle of the street where we were frying in the sun for hours until everyone had checked in and paid the fees. Then we will take the van to Porto where we pick up a catamaran. There was no room for everyone. They spread benches down so everyone could accommodate themselves. There is no dive equipment for everyone, I went dive without snorkeling and it was a disaster. It is far away to the blessed “Reef” in the middle of the sea that actually has nothing to see, we stayed a while wandering scattered in the middle of the ocean made dumb, looking for a turtle and there we saw sand, sand, and some fish. Then we went back to the boat and went to another “Reef” to see the stars of the sea. And then we went back by boat and we went pro such of Cielito which was a fiasco. Just a place of cold, shallow water in the middle of nothing, full of boats and people all drinking. You were supposed to see arrayes, but they must have gone to another with so much muvuca and so much pussy. The return seemed like an eternity. Money thrown out!!! The sea in the hotel area was much more beautiful than anything I saw on this tour.

What tour - No show from contact on the pier. No clear indication of company Got called, by name to check in now at captain tequila. 45 min late. No information. Sent on a 100 people ship with 3 stops. I booked max.35 people 4 stops. Tour started 1 hour late. Much information in Spanish, very little in English.

Not what was promised, bad snokeling, snacks for fees, no fins - This trip was described as including everything including an open bar. 10 minutes into the trip a guy comes around with a box filled with bags of chips and wants 40 pesos(normally 10 pesos) to sell them before we have anything to drink. Barely passable Margaritas are served along with lemonade and water. At the first snorkel site it is revealed that fins are only for the crew, making it nearly impossible to snorkel at any depth. The first site had some nice sea life about 30-40 feet down, once again hard to reach without fins. The highlight was a the end when a guy did a good saxophone solo. The food was a hot dog and some ceviche that I didn't want to touch because it smelled funny. Later while exiting the boat, the crew can be seen recycling ceviche off people plate to be given the to next unsuspecting tourists.

Worst snorkeling trip ever - Don't do it . So unorganized. We waited in a hot room 2 hour before walking to boat . They double charged us.not the boat in picture. Not enough seats . People had to sit on little plastic stools. You can't drink until after the long boat ride to reef and after the snorkeling. Then the serve you beer from a forty ounce bottle . Spend the extra money on better snorkeling trip . Trust me

Scammers - Had miscommunication with this company. I booked 1pm sail but when we got there, the guide told us its at 2pm. Likewise, they tried to charge additional money (outside of the docking fee), although we paid in fill when we initially booked it.
