Travel 2.8 km (1.7 miles) past the Dos Ojos Park entrance towards Tulum, and turn into the semi-closed gates at the 52nd kilometer from Playa del Carmen on the Cancun-Tulum federal road. You will arrive at the car dump. Drive to the right and then turn left. The dusty, bumpy road will lead you into the jungle.

Cenote Dreamgate is part of the interconnected Sac Actun-Nohoch-Dos Ojos system. It is the world’s second-largest underwater cave system, featuring 376.7 km (234 miles) of underwater passages. The Nohoch historical section is an anchialine cave system that connects to naturally intruding marine water and tidal influences in the cenotes.

There are both upstream and downstream cavern zones, offering a dual underground adventure. With a consistent daily influx of divers exploring this cenote, a concerning rate of damage has started to become evident.

To explore the premier main passage upstream, follow the cavern line on the left and transition from the cavern tour line at the directional line arrow approximately 200 ft (60 m).

To access the downstream area, swim to the right of the platform facing west. Make sure to turn right or eastward, where you will discover the Gold Cavern tour line. The main line offers the most rewarding dive.
