Recommend the tour but not the suggested parking! - It was good I’m glad we booked. We were able to see animals that i think on our own we would have not seen. The tour guide messaged us to park at Chalo parking which we did and had to leave the keys. Upon our return the car was moved and had white scratches as if they hit something. It’s a rental so now we will have to pay out of pocket for the damages. When we questioned the attendant his response was he doesn’t know. We trusted the parking as it was recommended by your tour guide that works for Viator. This put a damper on our stay in this area. So please be careful when parking in recommended areas we could’ve easily parked somewhere else as the safety of the car is not guaranteed. Would recommend the tour but be careful with the parking.

Monkeys and more Monkeys - I read the reviews first and I still forgot to bring a reusable water bottle from home for the 1.5-2 hours park walk adventure. No plastic permitted. We went early AM and we were feeling the rainforest climate... hot. Lots of monkeys along the route. Cool to see up close. Our guide, John Pierre gave great insight on the parks history and shared great views of the wild life along the way. The beach at the end was amazing. Bring a towel to enjoy.

Wonderful wildlife experience - Great experience. You see so much wildlife that you would never have seen if you were walking this park alone. I also learned a lot about the history andbackground of some of these little guys. It was a great experience and I would do it again. I was a little sad. We didn’t see monkeys, but I realized that the monkeys come out later on in the day so on my walk back to the beach there were so manymonkeys I lost count so if you aren’t seeing monkeys on this tour, I recommend staying a little bit longer and hanging out by where the café is or right by the beach

Once in a lifetime experience!! - What an amazing experience. Milton made the whole thing so enjoyable. He was so knowledgeable about everything and got some amazing pictures. The three of us had him all to ourselves so he was able to spend a lot of time explaining history and animals and all the things we had no idea about. Admission was easy and prepaid. The only thing we had difficulty with was the directions for parking. We didn’t end up finding where they were so parked and paid somewhere else. We were there for around 2.5 hours and we didn’t stop learning and seeing animals the whole time. The beach at the end was incredible!! If you are coming to Manuel Antonio, book this excursion and ask for Milton!!! You will not be disappointed.

Must-do tour! - Diego took such good care of our group! My immediate group was myself, one adult daughter, and two teens, and there were three others on the tour. Having a guided tour is such a necessity - we would not have noticed most of the creatures Diego pointed out to us had we just been on our own. Not only did we get to see using his telescope, we also got the album full of pictures afterwards. Well worth the money spent overall. As a side note, one of my teens has T1D and Diego helped explain to the park staff why we needed to carry a small snack inside. Gracias por todo, Diego!

Guide is a must - I would have seen this as hike in the park without the guide, I never would have seen all the animals we did without him. The park was amazing and a must see.

We followed Diego's... - We followed Diego's Whatapp advice and met at the coordinated location outside the park. other guides asked if we had a guide yet and respectfully let us be until we came to the rendez-vous point. The guides help one another. We were asked the name of our guide and told where to wait, as he would find us. The tour was impressive. The excitement of locating different animals, birds, and reptiles came from not only us on the tour, but also Leo. The view points after the tour are also worth exploring, as is a swin in the ocean.

Cool vibes! - Very cool experience and you see many things you wouldn’t see by yourself! I think I honestly could’ve done it alone but only bc I already saw a lot of the smaller things we saw in a night tour and was looking for the bigger monkeys and such.
