An instructor will tech you the best tactics, poses and tips. Water safety is our priority, all levels are welcome to enjoy a wonderful and uplifting lifetime experience in the water for 2 hours. Then free use of your surfboard for you to keep practicing as long you want for the day.
We offer customize star times up on request if possible, if no one of our star times works for you.

Wonderful Surf Lessons & Beach Day - We had the best time surfing and spending a day at the beach with Glen surfing. They treated my family like their own and made our beach days fun, relaxing and memorable. The price was a great value for what was offered. Access to beach chairs, shade for my daughter to play, boogie boards and an extensive food and drink menu from a nearby restaurant made the whole experience a favorite part of our visit to Costa Rica. I had a surf instruction with Isaac, and he was kind, patient and great at taking care of things, especially considering it was my first time attempting to surf. Would highly recommend this to any and everyone visiting Manuel Antonio!

Highly recommend - There isn’t a pickup- Glenn’s Surf School is on the beach right next to the “pickup” spot. Excellent instructor and super friendly staff. Glenn’s wife(La Jefa) was great. Shared fruit, water and were super fun! Surfing was more physical than I expected, but then I’m viejo “

The best fun with the most professional instructor - I loved this! - This was one of the highlights of my trip to Costa Rica - I was so scared to try but I had so much fun and as a complete beginner in her 50’s actually managed to surf! This was all thanks to Isaac who is the most professional, patient and fun teacher - I laughed as much as I fell into the water. The waves are sometimes high but the water is so warm and I always felt safe. If you are considering this activity - do it!!

Great experience with Glen’s Surf School. As a beginner, I had lessons with Ericsson, who made me feel very safe, explained the techniques clearly, and provided great guidance in the water. I had a lot of fun learning.
The service from Glen and the team was excellent, including beach setup with umbrellas, beach beds, and drinks/snacks. The location is perfect, in the most lively part of the beach, very close to the entrance path to Manuel Antonio National Park.

Great Surfing! - Went surfing with Glen’s Surfing, it was great!!! Would highly recommend. Glen is a surf legend and a really nice guy with a great team.

Awesome surf lessons for beginners - Glen and Angie were wonderful! My kids and I had an awesome lesson with two instructors. They made learning easy and all of us were able to catch lots of waves! Glen gave us use of some lounge chairs and shade pop up. We stayed after the lesson for some more surfing and also got to use the boogie boards which was a TON of fun. Highly recommend them!

Surf lessons and so much more - Glen and Angie are the absolute best! They treat you like family and make sure your experience is comfortable, successful, and fun!
They provided surf lessons to our 13 year old son and 10 year old nephew. Both boys said it was the highlight of their trip as they both enjoyed their kind and patient instructors. They both rode several waves! There was a photographer to capture pictures as well.
Glen and Angie provided chairs, parking, and boogie boards as well. We were even able to order drinks and snacks.
They made our vacation memorable and comfortable! We hope to see them in the future!

10/10 Highly recommended! - Glen was such an amazing teacher. I had never surfed before and really wanted to try so I booked this class. I was able to stand up on my very first try and then the ones that followed (I have some snowboarding experience) but Glen was able to guide me through everything and explain the mechanics of the process 😅 very friendly and patient and willing to work at your pace. They even got some pics and videos for memories and some snacks afterwards. I had a great time and highly recommend!!!
