Even though I did pretty much everything in sports at the age of 63 I would never have believed that I would ride a 'wave', you managed it in one hour. Tony’s Surf School - best of the best. - Tony gave us a once in a lifetime experience and everyone should get that in Manuel Antonio. I can’t snowboard or skateboard, but Tony got me feeling like I could actually be a surfer someday. Seriously, I got up my second try and my daughter got up on her first! If you want to feel like a real (novice) surfer, for even a day, trust Tony and his incredible team.

Unforgettable First Surf Experience - My friend and I took a surf lesson with Tony’s Surf School, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we met Tony, he was incredibly welcoming and passionate about what he does. We happened to meet him on the 10th anniversary of his school, and he was offering free lessons to kids that day, which created a really warm and positive atmosphere. We had never surfed before, but it was much easier than I expected and we had an amazing time. The lesson included one hour with an instructor and one hour practicing on our own, which was perfect for building confidence. Tony took great care of us for the entire day at the beach and made sure we felt comfortable and had a great time. The experience was absolutely worth the $50 USD. I would 100% recommend Tony’s Surf School to anyone who wants to have a great day. It was honestly the best side quest of our trip.

Good surfing experience - I think it was a very good surfing lesson! I really enjoyed it, although my instructor wasn’t very strong in English, so there were a few misunderstandings. But overall, it was a very good experience!

Best Surf Instructors EVER! - Tony and his team were AMAZING. My 13 year old, 7 year old, and myself took lessons and everyone was kind and patient. The experience was also very reasonably priced. We can’t wait to come back!

Surf lessons with Tony the Tiger 🦁 - I had a surf lesson with Tony and if I could give him 100 stars I would. I arrived with a headache and he took good care of me with water, aspirin, lots of patience, kindness and a beautiful smile. He was very professional and very knowledgeable. He taught me to stand on the board in minutes and by the end I actually surfed! I fell off the board so many times and he was always right there to catch me. He’s hot too so falling into his arms again and again isn’t a bad thing at all.

Amazing Surfing Day with Tony's Surf School - Our family of 4 had an amazing surfing day with Tony's Surf School! Tony is so kind and he made a huge effort to make sure were set up with everything we needed on the beach that day from a tent and beach chairs to food and drinks and 4 great surf instructors. My kids are 13 and 11 and despite the strong currents that day I felt very confident that we were all in good hands. It was by far one of the best days of our 9 day trip. Thank you for a memorable day!

Tony gave us his contact and would greet us as we got to the beach and had everything set up. Get to know them! So fun! - Tony and Roberto are the greatest. We came back to the beach every day of our trip because of the fun and amazing service. Tony would greet us as we got to the beach and helped us learn to surf, boogie board, and was tons of fun for the kids. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
