Good people, attentive service, world class place. - Excellent people. World class vistas, surprisingly good food . Well worth the price of admission. Costa Rica is correctly named. The landscape and the people who live within it are water for a parched soul.

Awesome - Was a great value! We had lunch and dinner, and had a tour and the catamaran! Boat was a lot of fun and we got to see dolphins! Unfortunately the snorkeling was a little bit of a let down because the water was too murky to see anything at all. But the boat trip was fun, guides were great and drinks were free! So would definitely recommend :)

Best offer you will find! - This was a prefect day for my while family. We took the tour of the park in the morning filled by a sunset cruise. This was a perfect option, booking both through the same company made it easy to have a perfect day. We opted to take our car instead of having pickup, however they met us a short drive from the park and we folllewed them to private secured parking. Which wasn't included but only ended being about $8. The walk through the park was with a fantastic local guide who was able to point out tons of things we would have never been able to see. The park walk was about 2 hours and was followed with included fresh fruit and ice tea. We spent about an hour on the beach and met our guide right outside the park where we were provided a complementary local lunch which was delicious. Then we met up with the tour at the marina in quepos. A short time later we were sailing along some amazing coastlines with many species of birds being presented, along with amazing untouched land. We stopped in a protected cove where we had time to snorkel (I finally got to see a sea turtle!) Use the waterslide, and jump from the top decks. The drinks were fanatic, the dinner was one of the best we had(complements to the chef). Then we pulled anchor and sailed back toward the marina with the beautiful sunset on the background. Before getting back the captain expertly got us up close to a cliff filled with a ton of different sea birds, and kept us close against the current to get a great view. Finally we returned to the marina where a Christmas concert was taking place. Thank you placket dolphin for the amazing memories and the great photo opportunities! This was the perfect end to our first trip to Costa Rica!

Great Trip - The sea portion of this trip with Thru Planet Dolphin Catamaran Sailing they did a great job, the catamaran was immaculate, and there was hand sanitizer everywhere! The staff was very personable and concerned about our safety. Lunch was delicious, and it was a beautiful trip out on the ocean! The only disappointing thing was that we did not see any dolphins, turtles, whales, or even that many fish. The water was very murky as well, so when we snorkeled it was very hard to see anything. But of course they had no control over that. The park portion was amazing. Our guide was Nathan and he was fantastic! He has been a guide for over 40 years, and he was so knowledgeable! There is no way we would’ve seen what we saw without him. We saw several sloths, even ones climbing around in trees, lizards, bats, birds, deer, maths, rodents, crocodiles, etc. Overall it was a great trip!

A Pleasant, Varied Day - This is a bit of a mish-mash, as the national park tour is actually provided by a different company. That tour was great - 5/5 - as the guide did an excellent job of spotting and providing viewing opportunities while teaching and providing good customer service. If you're just looking for tour of MANP, you can't do better than Efrain's. The catamaran was a bit less perfect, although most of that doesn't have a lot to do with the operators. Because the boat is so big, we had a mixture of around 90% families with kids and the remainder as part of the permanent floating international party scene, which made for some weird interactions. Because of the size of the group, you also don't get a lot of individual help on things like snorkeling gear. Food and drink service were attentive, which may tell you where the priorities are for most of the guests. They did make a second pass out from shore to successfully look for dolphins after the first time out was a bust, which was a definite plus. No sea turtles or whales this time, but that's understood to be unpredictable.

Nice Combo, but needs better coordination - The catamaran cruise was wonderful and the staff very helpful and friendly. Loved the snorkeling. The tour in Manuel Antonio was also very educational and our guide did an excellent job of siting wildlife for us to observe. The only reason for the average rating was there didn’t seem to be much coordination between the two separate excursions. We were left to figure out where to find the tour operator for Manuel Antonio after the catamaran cruise and no one seemed to know where to send us.
