Friendly Guide with an Expert Eye - Our guide Alex was very passionate and informed about all of the wildlife - even in the very crowded parking lot outside the park, he set up his telescope and showed my son a beautiful bird. Pura Vida! He knew just the spots to stop and look deeper into the woods and was warm and friendly like most of the people that we met.

Great nature walk! - We had a great time on our nature walk. We saw sloths, monkeys, snakes, frogs, birds, and bugs, but they’re all so well camouflaged that we would never in a million years have spotted them on our own without a guide. The jungle itself is a sight to see too. Plus we ended up at a lovely beach that we were free to swim at. Our tour guide was the best part though. Her name was Vivi, and she was so knowledgeable and passionate about the animals, it was a pleasure to listen to her.

Best tour in Costa Rica! - After spending 10 days in Costa Rica, I’m glad we ended it with this amazing tour! Our guide was amazing, knowledgeable and knew exactly where to look. It’s a must do! Best time we had by far!

Tour with Luis Diego! - Luis Diego Vargas Navarro was our tour guide and we were blown away how interactive and knowledgeable “Diego” was. To prove my point, he would halt at a site in the national park and to the naked eye, no wildlife can be seen. He then sets up his telescope and presto, an animal hidden under a leaf. He is such an expert in his field. The entire tour was so enjoyable and we highly recommend it!

Unforgettable Tour and Best Tour Guide! - Alex was truly phenomenal! Our tour far exceeded our expectations—we saw so much more than we ever imagined. Alex was an incredible guide who went above and beyond every step of the way. His ability to spot wildlife was unbelievable; there’s no way we would have seen half of what we did without him. Thanks to his sharp eye, we saw monkeys, sloths, bats, lizards, birds, iguanas, and more.
He even used his telescope to take amazing photos and videos for us right on our phones, which was such a thoughtful touch. Alex was patient, attentive, and genuinely took the time to make sure we experienced everything we hoped to see. Our driver even mentioned that Alex is the best in the company—and I believe it 100%.
He truly made the experience unforgettable and deserves all the recognition for his passion, knowledge, and kindness. Thank you so much, Alex!

Fantastic tour - saw lots of wildlife! - Incredible tour today with Alex. Very small group which allowed us to see so much. Alex spotted so much for us and really made our time at Manual Antonio special! Highly recommend.

Vivi was a great knowledgable tour guide! - we went on a walking tour through the park with Viviana Jimenez as our guide. She was amazing and truly knowledgeable. She was enthusiastic and pointed out so many wonderful things that we never would've seen without her. Highly recommend this tour and especially Vivi!! Pura Vida!
make sure and bring a bathing suit and towel for at the end of the tour is an incredible beach that is easy to swim in surrounded by nature. bring snacks and water!

Spectacular! - Viviana was an absolute gem! She’s so knowledgeable and passionate about what she does and it shows during her tour. Definitely would recommend to anyone coming to costa rica.

Viviana was a great guide - We did a group tour with Viviana the day after Christmas and saw a ton of animals. Our family of 3 was paired with a family of 7 which was just about as big of a group you would want. We began the day spotting animals (an owl) in the parking lot before even entering the park! Vivi was very informative and taught our inquisitive group all about the animals and culture here in CR. After a few hours walking the gravel trail looking and all kinds of animals through her scope we took a quick break for fruit and juice that was included before heading to the beach. She gave us the option of 30mins at the beach with her guiding us back to the parking lot or we could stay as long as we would like and guide ourselves back to the car. We opted for the later.

Bad from start to finish - you get simply ripped off. It was supposed to be a private tour for us 5, the group turned out to be 9! Payment was promised to be possible by card - but upon arrival there was a $50 charge for that. Same fee for a 6yo as the adults. The guide was lazy, just followed the other guides and points his bino’s where ever the others were looking. After a short walk: swim for an hour! In a nature tour… on the way back to the parking the guide didn’t bother at all…. At the parking the promised fruit was finished and 2 of our party of 5 got a bottle of water. Shameful operation!
