Kinda like the Jungle Cruise in Disneyworld - ha! - If you've ever been on the "Jungle Cruise" at Disneyworld - this kind of reminded me of it - You peacefully float along and see animals while a guide talks you through and points out animals and plants. We had driven ourselves to the start up location and was able to find it on google maps/confirmed w/the host prior to be sure . Not handicap accessible to get in the boats- you have to go down steps Just an observation.. At one point about 6-8 white faced monkeys jumped on top of the boat - so silly and entertaining. No touching! A few times the boat got stuck in the bottom mud (it was dry season) and the pilot got out and pushed - but otherwise - wear bug spray and sunblock. There were adults and kids on our boat - which probably held about a dozen or so. Single seats so no bad views. We are in our 60's so it was nice to just float about for a while and appreciated the tour. We signed up for the lunch afterwards - it is a separate place from the boat launch - but easy enough to find since our guide punched in the directions on our phone. thank you!

Informative and fun - Kevin was a wonderful tour guide. Not only does he have a great eye to spot even the smallest of ants, but we had fun exchanging our cultural idioms and learning from each other. He is a charming young man! We also hit the jackpot with the monkeys and learned som much about the mangrove ecosystem.

Wildlife viewing with our guide Kevin. - The tour was wonderful - we saw an entire troop of white faced monkeys while on the boat. Our guide Kevin was well-spoken and engaging and he took us to lunch at a great restaurant after the tour. Loved this tour and it was well worth it.

Educational Mangrove Trip - This was an OK experience, but make sure to read the details. We arrived at the boat dock at 1pm, as the details said the start time was 1pm. No one ever confirmed with me, or responded to my message asking if they'd be picking us up or not. We arrived at the boat dock as instructed, a few minutes before 1pm, and were told the tour would leave in 30-40 minutes when the transportation van & guide arrived. It ended up being a full hour we had to wait. The family/group running the company was very nice, but there was only so much we could do to entertain our 3 kids while waiting for the boat. The tour itself was fine - there was a very fun part when capuchin monkeys jumped on the boat's ceiling and jumped around. They were very cute and fun to watch. The guide offered us cold water, which was nice. When we got off the boat, they said we could follow them to a local restaurant to get lunch. We'd already eaten and were ready to head home, so we skipped this. The image on the listing is very misleading - the water is certainly not blue. Far too expensive for not much to see! - Very disappointing exit in a much less glamorous mangrove than in the pictures... canal surrounded by sediment dykes at the beginning, bags of garbage... we saw few birds and animals on site. As for the lunch (without dessert) that followed, it was any, in any restaurant. In short, we may have fallen short but we clearly did not get value for money (£130 for 2).
