Fantastic Walking Tour - Led by a certified guide, we saw a diverse selection of mammals, insects, snake and flowers. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and engaged.
Important to book a guide especially through the park website as we would have never seen three-quarters of the wildlife our guide pointed out. With a tripod and scope at hand, we were able to view the tiniest and well-camouflaged creatures.
Tips: Rocky paths so avoid wearing flip flops. No plastic or food is allowed so bring lots of water in a reusable container. Although it was not buggy for us, it probably is a good idea to wear insect repellent in addition to sunscreen.

Manuel Antonio private guided tour - We just came back from 2 weeks in cost rica and the private guided tour in Manuel Antonio was one of the best experiences we had!
We were family with 3 kids 7-10 years old , and Alonso was amazing!!! Super patience, lots of knowledge and stories for the kids, it was interactive tour , the kids helped to find animals and were thrilled when they found , fluent in English. Communication was great, we booked few months in advance , and his price was very good!
He also helped us to book more activities with his partners!

Amazing experience with an amazing guide! - Andy, our guide was exceptional. He was really good at spotting wildlife that we would not have been able to find on our own. we also got great pictures and videos from the telescope so we can remember them! Andy had really extensive knowledge about the wildlife in the park and kept the kids engaged the whole time. We were really lucky to see both two and three fingered sloths, a baby viper, and some amazing insects!

BRILLIANT - ANIMALS EVERYWHERE - We did a Private Tour in the National Park, as well as a mangrove boat tour - both amazing.
The private tour of the National Park was with our guide - JAROTH. He was excellent and extremely knowledgeable! The tour lasted about 2 hours and we saw 6 sloths, countless monkeys and so much more.
The mangrove boat tour was also brilliant. Snakes, lizards, monkeys, and hundreds of birds.
Everything great, but just one thing to be aware of is that for the private tour, if you have a hire car you will park at a designated secure car park (which is fine - costs 10 dollars). However, the car park owners will ask you to leave your car keys with them until you return (so they can move it to allow other cars in if needed). We weren’t warned about this and wouldve liked a heads up! It was all totally fine when we got the car back but nerve wracking handing over the only keys you have for your vehicle!
Overall, both tours were excellent and communication was on the whole great from Alonso!!

Best tour of Manuel Antonio National Forest - Alonso is the absolute best guide to wander thru the Manuel Antonio National Forest. He uses a scope but also his phone to help zoom in for better viewing! He has a wealth of knowledge about the animals, birds and trees. He is patient with questions and amazing at finding hidden creatures. Be sure to ask him about the sloth dance!

Discovery hike - pure nature incl. mega guide and animal sightings - The visit to the park was unique. Many animals could already be observed upon entering the facility.
Subsequently, numerous other animals were found for observation and through the detailed information of our guide we were able to get many impressions and insights into the wonderful natural world of Costa Rica. A great experience in a beautiful nature park. Visiting the beaches, such as the circular hike around the peninsula, completed the visit.
Definitely, however, our guide turned a beautiful experience into a special experience. Photos, videos, explanations just TOP!;-)

Amazing guided tour - The guide was extremely friendly, funny and informative. He also shot some pictures with the telescope using his phone and later shared them with us.
Also there's a great biodiversity in the park with monkeys, sloths, snakes, lizards,...

Friendly guide but little to see - Detailed info of the organizer on how to get there and where to park. Please note that the cost of the tour does not include access to the Park 20$US/pers and a bit complicated to buy online (mandatory) and parking is also charged 10$US. Be careful because several people stop you on the way to tell you to park at another place, just say that you have already booked with a guide and continue to the scheduled meeting point.
The guide (Brandon) is very friendly and gives many explanations. What is disappointing are the animals seen... it is expensive to see 3 small brownish lizards, a crab, a small red-headed bird and a mini snake. The highlight was the screaming monkeys and bizarrely a grasshopper simply by its large size.
The tour route is short and the guide finally leaves us at the beach from where we had to return ourselves at the entrance of the park.
We took the opportunity to walk on our own in different trails and it was at this time that we met blank-faced monkeys very close to the trail.
In summary... nice guide, very short route, few animals seen.
I wouldn't pay for it again but you might be luckier than us.
