Start with a 20-minute shuttle ride from Queenstown to Arrowtown, where the guide will share fascinating gold-rush history and provide a bike and safety briefing. Pedal along rivers, cross bridges, and enjoy alpine views as you head towards the Gibbston wine region. Visit cellar doors like Gibbston Valley (including a Wine Cave tour with 3 tastings), Rockburn, Kinross (where platters are available), and Mount Rosa (offering wine by the fire). Tastings and food are not included, and reservations are advised during peak season. Ride a 2024 Trek Marlin 6 or opt for a premium e-bike upgrade (recommended for most riders, minimum height 150cm). The tour concludes with a 4:00 pm pick-up from the wineries, returning to Queenstown by 5:00 pm. This 7-hour experience beautifully blends Arrowtown’s rich heritage, breathtaking cycling paths, and exceptional wines into one memorable day.

A fun combo of biking, scenery and good wines! - Great day of biking, and enjoying some lovely wines! The pizza at Kinross was terrific! We enjoyed being able to go at our own pace and take in the incredible views. Definitely do the e-bike!

Really enjoyed a scenic ride through the country and visiting wineries - The Going Blue team were great at helping us to get the right type of ebikes to use and recommend the right trail based on how experienced our riders were. We got brand new ebikes which fit us well. This tour was very scenic and a nice ride through the country and over several bridges. It ended by passing by several wineries which is a good way to end the ride. The team was very flexible on the day. I had chose a day and we had to change it at the last minute due to weather complications. The team was very accomodating. Finally, they make it easy by picking you up at your hotel or in town somewhere then returning you there at the end of the day. This was one of the highlights of our trip to New Zealand.

Valley of the Vines tour - Great tour. The guys running the tour were super helpful and provided a map as well as contact info in case of need or for pickup en route. Bike paths were well marked and mostly easy. A few uphill stretches managed easily with the e-bike. Time allotted was fine and plenty for a relaxing ride. Remember to reserve if wanting to do tastings at Peregrine or Chard (and check others en route). Going Blue will reserve for you too. All in all an activity well worth doing. Arrowtown looked really interesting too. The Gibbston tavern has good food and a selection of wines, gins, ginger beer (alcoholic) and beer enjoyed by me.

One of the highlights our visit to Queenstown. - Thanks to Jay and his team. Pickup from our location and a drive to Arrowtown.
Outstanding e-bikes very easy to ride.
A fantastic day visiting wineries on the route.
Would highly recommend. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

Great day of riding and sipping wine - Great team, very friendly and helpful. Bikes are of a very high quality which made the experience even more enjoyable. Perfect way to visit a few wineries. Would recommend an e-bike if you don’t do a lot of riding.

Riding the Arrow river and Drinking from the Gibbston vines - Beautiful views and an easy ride for most bike riders and the ability to shop, stop to admire the views or stay for food or a wine at your leisure. Great friendly guys to pick you up and set you up with the gear and orientate you with the e-bike which was a dream to ride and made the inclines very manageable. Getting collected at rides end was a bonus too. Highly recommend this tour and we’ll cert one back and bring friends next time we are in town.

A must do when in Queenstown - What a brilliant day, picked up in a the courtesy bus and transported to Arrowtown. Great instructions and explanation of the bikes and then…. We were off! The trip is amazing and the EBike is great and much needed. Stopping to see bridges and wineries along the way this is truly a must do.

First time E-Bikers hit the 25km Trail! - A fantastic day! The Go Blue peeps rigged us up and got us on our way with great service and smiles. The trails were so scenic and well maintained, and so were our e-bikes. All great equipment and safe. Reassuring for our first time on them and they made our ride so much more enjoyable. Stopped at 3 wineries along the way, all great with nice food also. Not having to ride back to Queenstown and being collected in the shuttle was the icing on our cake. It was one of our favorite days of our trip.
