Wet & Wonderful - The process was super easy, and everything was taken care of by our guide Tom - he let us know the plan for the journey and the cruise. On the way we stopped for some photo opportunities and even with the wet weather it was well worth it! During the cruise we had a meal onboard and the skipper gave us a great narration along the journey (he has a lovely voice too..!). Because we went on a rainy day we got a full show of waterfalls throughout the fiord - on a dry day there’s a lot less apparently! Excellent experience, I’d recommend for sure!

Awesome summer day out to Milford Sound. - Amazing summer day out with our guide Tom to Milford Sound! The drive is gorgeous and the sound is awe inspiring! Tom is an expert driver and stopped at some great photo spots. Small group of just 13 people made the group and van ride fun and manageable. Cruise down the sound to the ocean and back was incredible and featured a tasty lunch and hot drinks on board - there is also a bar. We lucked out and got a rainy day and so the mountains and sound walls were covered by hundreds of instant waterfalls and cascades - an amazing sight! Boat captain took us right up to one of the year-round glacier-fed falls so that the daring onboard could get the full soaking experience! We saw beautiful birds, alpine parrots and cute fur seals during the journey! For a rainy day or to experience the falls up close, rain pants and a good rain jacket or poncho are a good idea! But don’t worry if it’s not a rainy day on the sound and along the valleys and fjords - on a sunny day the greens and blues are said to be glorious!

Milford Sound - The eighth wonder of the world according to Kipling? I absolutely agree. Great work Wild Kiwi. A beautiful and carefree trip full of great explanations by our guide Vendula with interesting stops along the way. Thank you

Recommended! - Everything was amazing. At the last minute we were a bit picked up and assigned to another company to take us (in the end we went with Altitude). But the tour was good, she was guided by an amazing person (her name is Do) and basically everything very comfortable. In good times, the stops we did very well, the transport well, everything very well. Lunch for example was the least amazing but anyway, it delivered.

Milford Sound Trip - Thank to Mr. Chase, our tour guide. Although the journey was long, we were immersed in the beautiful scenery along the way through his introduction. He told us about the history and culture of each scenic spot, which deepened my understanding of New Zealand. Besides, although my mother and aunt are not good at English, they still felt everyone's enthusiasm and had a great time!

Wonderful day - Joined this tour as a solo traveler, Ben our guide warmly welcomed the group providing a fun and friendly atmosphere. From the local knowledge to the Spotify playlist this trip did not disappoint. Milford certainly turned it on, the lunch provided on the spacious boat made for a pleasant experience. The trip to and from Queenstown was broken up with stops at small country town cafes providing support to local businesses & communities. The day may seem long however with the new friends you have made time certainly slips away. A wonderful day well spent.

Amazing Day in Milford Sound! - Absolutely amazing experience in Milford Sound! The boat ride was incredible, and truly one of the most beautiful things I’ve experienced in my life! Ben was an awesome and informative tour guide from Wild Kiwi, and the lunch after was wonderful as well! Cannot recommend enough! :)

Very expensive for the service they offer - It would have been nice to have been warned to avoid getting up early and having to wait 40 minutes. Good thing there was a bar open so I could wait at 6:30 in the morning. Then the lunch they give you (for the money you pay) might be better.

why the change in tour operator? - Tour Operator was switched by company to another operator a few days ahead of the trip. the delivery by this new operator was mixed. firstly, the guide (Chase) was supurb, knowledgable, informative, inclusive and a very good driver. given the selected tour, the bus did not offer high quality viewing and seats were not high end. The lunch offered was dissapointing, with very limited choice and was unimaginative. The boat cruise was undertaken in a vessel that, in my view was underwelming given the price of the tour. The viewing windows needed cleaning and generally the vessel was in need of some significant cosmetic maintanance. Overall given the price, we were left wondering if we had overpaid and if the operator that we had booked with ( Wild Kiwi Day Tours), had short changed us, by "bouncing" our booking to another supplier.
