Would recommend a visit. - Beautiful facility. Our tour guide Ange did an excellent job. Very informative. Wines were very good. The caves were well maintained.

Good informative experience - Definitely a good option to tick off and do while there. It’s my second time doing this tour and am glad I did. Our host was lovely and gave has a few extra tastings - otherwise it would have gone quite quickly. We had a good tour group of only 4 of us so made it a bit more personal!

Guided tour and lunch pairing - Recently we had the honour of attending Gibbston Valley Winery through QRC, the overall experience was unforgettable. The team treated us so well. A few names I’d like to highlight were Eliza for her knowledgeable tour, answering any questions we had and taking us through the cave for a guided tasting whilst explaining the wines and history of the location and establishment extremely well. We then were taken inside for a 3 course meal with wine pairings. We were proved with a range of dishes for each course, all of which paired beautifully with the selected wines. Special thanks to Shona and Judit for excellent service and for explaining each wine and dish with great understanding. Will definitely come again!

Wonderful Tour, Deliscious Tasting, Exquisite Lunch! - We had a fabulous experience today at Gibbston Valley winery on a special guided tour of the facility lead by the wondeful Eliza! Incredibly informative, interesting and educational and the wines selected for our tasting were delicious!! We then backed up with a world class gastronomic adventure in the GV restaurant. We opted for the food and wine pairing experience and we were treated to some of the tastiest food in the region, paired beautifully with a selection of fine GV wines. Service was flawless, thank you so much Shona and Judit, you are both true professionals and tremendous assets to the operation :-)

The highlight of my NZ trip - My family had the best experience at the place. Wine tasting + cave tour. The cave and explanation of the vineyard were amazing but more than anything, our tour guide (unfortunately I didn’t catch his name. He was from Barcelona) and Melissa (from Peru) were the highlight of our entire NZ trip. Thank you so much to both of you for leaving us with unforgettable memories of Queenstown and NZ. I’ll recommend the tour to anyone who is visiting Queenstown and looking for a winery tour.

Fantastic vineyard tour. - Elizabeth (Eliza) did both our cave tour and cheese and wine pairing/ tasting. She was fantastic, knowledgeable and welcoming. A really fantastic experience, and fantastic service and welcome from Eliza. The whole place was really welcoming and the transport option from Queenstown was great.

All wine is good wine when it’s good wine - 5 star review. More importantly a million stars for George. We had issues getting to the pickup and were late, but George the hero waited for us and made it feel like no big deal. He gave us a mini tour on the drive to the winery and was an absolute delight. After our tour he also spoke to us more about the wine and shared his favourite bottle.On the drive back he also gave us great restaurant recommendations. Alberto did our tour and tasting and was also excellent. He simplified all the important wine information in an easy way for us dummies to understand. The deli also provided Great recommendations for cheese and wine pairings and delicious cheese tastings. The wine was also delightful and turns all wine is good wine, when it’s good wine.

Friendly & Informative Wine Experience with Alberto - We had a fantastic experience at Gibbston Valley Winery! Our guide, Alberto, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout the tour. His deep knowledge of wine made the experience even more enjoyable! we learned so much and appreciated the way he explained everything with such passion and clarity. We truly had a great time and walked away not only with some amazing wine but also a greater understanding of it. Highly recommended!

Beautiful accomadation poor service - Beautiful location and accomadation luxury. Front of house staff very unorganised cancelled me and my partners dinner without us knowing. Also hiring the e bike no one was there to meet us for them. Staff seemed very unorganised and when we told them Marine or Maria seemed to shrug it off. Unfortunate for that as the place is really beautiful.

Lack of respect on arrival - I arrived half an hour in advance and informed myself where I should wait. The attendant said it was to wait right there next door and we stayed there. It was already 15h and nothing called us and when it was 15:10 I asked again and she said that the group had just left, and we were waiting for 40 minutes. Lack of respect for disorganization. The tour itself was ok, where the guide explained everything about production, storage, etc. We tasted 4 wines and were good.
