It was 4.5hours through... - It was 4.5hours through the rainforest visiting a beautiful creek, magnificent gorge with waterfall with Lance, a great guide. He was informative, friendly and chatty and really looked after us. He had John with him, a trainee - also very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the region. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the coffee and biscuits and the ice cream was delicious!

A Must Do Tour! - With a limited time in Cairns, we were on the fence about booking this tour but WOW! A definite must see and must do! We had a great time with our tour guide Carston who was very charming and gave us alot of interesting information over the tour. This tour is small and private, and very flexible! The gorge was one of the most beautiful things we've ever seen. The weather was great for taking a walk and the path is flat and suitable for guests of all ages. The dirt roads can be rather bumpy so if you get car sick propose that you try to sit up front :) The fig tree was also amazing, Abit of a drive in but very worth it! It's quiet and peaceful. We also managed to spot some wildlife while driving around so that's a big plus! Ended the day at Davis Creek which was amazing! Really recommend that everyone bring a set of swimmers to enjoy it if weather permits. Overall the pace of the tour is great, you do many different things but it never feels draggy or boring. A wonderful experience I think great for both family and friends! Would recommend and do again for real.

Definitely worth it. - My husband and I had a great time. We took our three kids on this tour over 25 years ago and thought we might as well go again (without the kids) and we truly loved it. We also got a Gold Class Train upgrade. I would suggest that this is a must as you get much better seats, (designated so no clamouring for a particular seat) food and plenty of drinks. Our driver, Chris, (although there is more than one Chris) kept us entertained on the way with many stories about the areas we drove through and some funny stories about his life as well. He also made sure that we had clear instructions on what to do and where to go during the tour. Everything was really well organized. The only hiccup we had was that they had to cancel our Friday tour but were able to accommodate us on the Sunday (and in fact this worked out better for us as we had a very late night the previous night). The stop at the Yacht Club in Palm Cove allowed us to try cocktails at a reasonable price. The trip home was made more enjoyable as the music played was really good with many ‘golden oldies’ to sing along to This was a great tour and I would recommend it to everyone, it is definitely

Great half-day excursion! - Right on time. Got to visit two separate waterfalls, some great 4X4 river crossings, and ice-cream. Best part of the tour was our guide Carstens. Extremely knowledgeable and great sense of humor!

Amazing tour - An amazing 4 wheel drive experience. Spectacular scenery, gorges, lookouts and driving through creek beds filled with water. Our tour guide James was great, his knowledge of the area was interesting to listen to and his hilarious "dad" jokes made this such a fun trip. Definitely recommend this tour.
