First on the Forth - This cruise is a must for the casual traveler or the history buff. Don’t miss it - nice folks, well organized, great presentation on a comfortable vessel. And all at a great price

An experience to be had - It was an experience enjoyed by my wife and I. The trip lasted 90 minutes and we had an excellent on board commentary about The Firth of Forth and wildlife. The time went past so quickly so perhaps that tells you how much we enjoyed it.

Nice Little Cruise - Really nice trip out on the water and family owned business also. Even slowed right down to get pictures of seals. Had a pre recorded tour guide playing on speakers so you knew what the sights and interesting facts were.

Bucket list trip ticked off - it didn't disappoint. - I have been wanting to take this trip for a while. The boat leaves from South Queensferry and the bus number 43 from Edinburgh stops about 10 minutes away. You can also walk from Dalmeny station in 20 minutes (it's uphill on the way back but the 43 bus stops at the station too). I chose to take the 90 minute Fourth Bridge tour. I didn't visit the Island as it did not overly interest me. However, if you go earlier in the season you can see puffins which I love. I am fascinated by the architecture of the bridges and it's not until you see it up close you can appreciate it. There was a bar onboards and the staff seemed very helpful. I loved my trip and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Commentary was pre recorded but informative.

The best way to see the sights around the Firth of Forth. - My wife and I were fortunate enough for both of us to be given a 'Wonderdays' voucher for the Hour and a half tour of the Forth Estuary with afternoon tea. The tour booking staff kindly arranged the tour for us at very short notice and the caterers helped by supplying the food in a shorter time than normal, our thanks to them both for this. The tour was very enjoyable and so was the afternoon tea, the quality of the food was excellent and prosecco was included as well. The tour was helped by an interesting audio presentation which described the sites seen very well and provided interesting facts and information. The boat is a very comfortable and pleasant vessel and the crew were friendly and helpful. A great way to spend a part of your day.

A Must Do Experience with Everything Catered For - A great shop and parking in the area is free, but get their early! The boat runs to the timetable. A fine vessel with great views, hot and cold drinks, toilets, etc. The staff are a happy professional bunch with great customer skills and wildlife knowledge - seal of approval :-) We had a constant loud speaker (not too loud) narration which brought the journey to life with lots of snippets of history, etc. They even take you under the three bridges on the return journey. The cost was fair and the experience was very memorable.

Maid of the Forth boat tour, Edinburgh - The boat tour of 90 minutes was good, about the right length. The recorded commentary was interesting although some of it was hard to hear due to the noise and loud chatter by groups of passengers, most were not listening to it. Maybe headphones would be an option for passengers who want to listen?
