Additional Information

Upon embarking on our journey, we will traverse to Trossachs National Park to feast our eyes on some of Scotland’s most mesmerising landscapes. We will also explore Loch Lubnaig as well as the Scottish highlands.

Furthermore, we will wander through the timeless, idyllic village of Callander that is reminiscent of classic Scottish imagery.

As our adventure unfolds, we will make stops at significant landmarks such as Blackness Castle, which featured in ‘Mary Queen of Scots’ and ‘Outlander’, Doune Castle (a site appreciated in ‘Game of Thrones’, ‘Outlander’ and ‘Monty Pythons Holy Grail’), Deanston Distillery where we’ll enjoy an iconic 18-year-old single malt, and finally the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots, Linlithgow Palace.

During this lavish private tour, we will also get to admire Highland Cattle and the awe-inspiring Scottish vistas that are best absorbed in person, photos simply cannot capture their true beauty.

This happens to be my favourite tour to guide; it is perfect for those like you who wish to truly immerse themselves in the Scottish experience.

Loved it. - Our 2 day private tour with Wee Scottish tours was the highlight of our trip. Our guide, Will, was excellent. Our tour organizer, Kevin, made sure that we got to do everything that we requested and made some great suggestions. This is really the best choice for touring the Central Highlands, particularly if you want to do Whisky tasting.

Amazing Day of Scotch and History! - Wee Scottish Tours was easy to deal with and very reliable. We had an amazing day seeing old towns, castles and lochs near the Highlands. We also had tasty food and a scotch whiskey tour at one of the Speyside distilleries. Our guide, Will, was friendly, accommodating and extremely knowledgeable. We learned an incredible amount about Scottish history and culture, and had a great time!

Wee Tour Grand Memories - Scottish Highlands Private Tour (July 31, 2022) I was looking for a tour for my elderly dad and myself in a comfortable vehicle without too much walking. I had provided Kevin with some addresses where our ancestors lived in Edinburgh. We were impressed that he arrived with the locations and drove us to each for a quick photo before the proper tour started. We spent a lovely day with our new friend Kevin, chatting, laughing and learning. The day was relaxed & flexible with stops for coffees and washroom breaks when needed. We drove by the Kelpies, Queensferry, Linlithgow Palace, several lochs, Stirling Castle, sheep farm, fed Honey the Highland Coo, met local cafe owners and then Rosslyn Chapel which was fascinating. I hope to visit Scotland again with my husband and son and spend another great day with Kevin.

Scotland Highlands/Stirling Castle/Glengoyne Whisky Distillery with Gregor - I LOVE this company! This is the second day-trip my husband and I have booked with this group - we are returning customers for a reason. The tours are always small (usually 10-15 people in a group) and the intimacy always makes the tour enjoyable and most attendees friends by the end of the day. We made a last-minute decision to book this day-trip on New Year's Eve day, and our host/guide Gregor was truly a gem. For those who may be unaware (we were!), the Scots do NOT mess around about New Year's Eve, so having an amazing day tour the day of one of their biggest holidays was truly wonderful. Gregor was a great tour guide and made the day fly by. We have been on two day-tours with this company and 100% recommend it!

A royal experience - Kevin catered the trip to my personal interests which is unique in the typical one-size-fits-all tourism industry. I was impressed by his attention to detail and true passion for telling the story of Scotland. You can’t get an experience like this on a bus or group tour. Once you’re in the passenger seat of his “Silver Bullet” vehicle consider yourself taken care of and your stress of traveling taken away.
