Old Québec is often regarded as the most European city in North America, and this tour highlights its culinary delights. Over the course of five stops along cobblestone streets adorned with 400-year-old architecture, participants will savor the rich history of Québécois cuisine, ranging from hearty comfort dishes to sophisticated local ingredients.
The journey begins with earthy Lion’s Mane mushrooms and duck breast carpaccio, followed by the classic trio of traditional Québécois dishes: creamy pea soup, flavorful pâté chinois, and fresh maple taffy. In a 200-year-old residence, guests will enjoy handmade gnocchi enveloped in cheddar, cream, shallot, and white wine, topped with a black garlic crumble. A sweet treat awaits with sucre à la crème and what many locals consider the city’s finest croissant. The experience concludes perfectly with poutine.
On Sundays and Mondays, the gnocchi stop is replaced with a comforting oat risotto topped with a rock shrimp salad. Groups are kept small to ensure a personalized experience at each stop.
