QC Hippity Hoppity - Tour was very informative. Loved the audio version using headset in English. Understood the narrator very clearly. The tour gave us a great overview of Quebec City

Best way to see Quebec City - This is the best way to quickly see the city. We recommend you take a full loop and take note of the stops you want to revisit. Then use your ticket to return to this stops.

Informative and Fun - The tour takes just under two hours to go to all 16 stops. Easy to hop on and off. Viator wasn’t very clear about where to get on the bus as it didn’t provide us with a map. I did my own research and found a map on Unitours, who actually does the tour.

Not as much to see outside the walls - This tour probably isn’t worth it unless you have real mobility issues. Most attractions people flock to are in the old walking parts of the upper and lower city. A walking tour would’ve been more interesting I think. We did use the bus for the plains of Abraham (entrance was closed the first day due to construction but we had the two day pass luckily) and the drop off in the lower town but the rest of the drive wasn’t really worth it. Some interesting historical info in the audio commentary but felt a little average. Buses are clean and on time and our driver was pleasant. Just not like other ones we’ve taken that feel like you really need it to see things.

This tour is interesting, but it feels rushed for taking photos. - Overall, the tour really covers the tourist attractions all around the city. The stop signs are well marked, and it is easy to spot the bus route. The initial boarding takes place right next to the Château Frontenac. The end of the route is at the same starting point. If you have physical limitations, it is not mandatory to get off until the end of the trip. You can therefore stay on the bus to complete the tour. At the starting point, there was a friendly guide to answer our questions. The reservation was easy online, and the ticket is issued immediately. My only downside: the driver should stop for a few seconds to allow us to take photos of the attractions if we do not get off the bus.

Hit or miss - We bought the two day ticket. First day was great, however the second day was not. We waited at the bus stop for 39 minutes and when the bus came by he drove right by the stop( we were right under the stop sign and he kept going) . He stopped at the following stop light and we headed that way hoping to catch him there. We had my elderly mom with us so we weren’t able to move quickly but headed in that direction, didn’t make it before the light turned green. The bus driver literally made eye contact and left. One of our party called the headquarter and they called the bus driver who basically called us a liar. We asked for a refund for the day as the next bus would not be coming for quite a while and we were told we couldn’t get one because me made the reservation through TripAdvisor. It appears it’s sort of hit or miss on the experience you will receive with this business.

Unreliable, Uninformative and risk being stranded. - To start with, and most importantly, the busses don't stop at every marked stop. On our first day we parked near stop #6 Musee des Beaux-arts (Quebec Museum of Fine Arts). We stood underneath the Red Line Bus Stop. The bus approached but didn't slow so we waved at the driver to flag him down. He waved back but blew by anyway. We called the number on the sign and all they said was another bus would be by in 40 minutes. One you board you realize there is no tour, eventually you figure out that some riders have headphones on. After looking around you notice that near the front there is a bin of headphones that jack into devices on the busses seats or walls. These play info about the stops in multiple languages. Nothing on the busses tells you this, not even the driver. Finally, each day between 5 and 530 PM the drivers just kick everyone off at the next stop, without warning. The service is over for the day. It doesn't matter where you get abandoned.
