The Temple of Karnak & the Temple of Luxor
Temple of Karnak - At 10:00 am, guests will be greeted by local representatives at their hotel in Luxor or at Luxor airport, followed by a transfer to the Nile Cruise. Boarding takes place before lunch, which is served on board. The first visit is to the Temple of Karnak.

The Temple of Karnak & the Temple of Luxor

Luxor Temple - Next, guests will explore the Temple of Luxor, including its courtyard and the granite statues of Ramses the Great. The journey continues by carriage or bus to Karnak, a complex of temples constructed over various reigns. Starting at the Avenue of Sphinxes, visitors will see the Unfinished Propylon, the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 massive columns, the Obelisks of Queen Hatshepsut and Tutomosis III, the temple of Amon with lotus and papyrus motifs, the Granite Scarab of Amenophis III, and the Sacred Lake. Afternoon tea is served, followed by dinner on board and a belly dance show. Overnight stay on board in Luxor.
The West Bank – the Valley of the Kings, Colossi of Memnon, and The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut
Valley of the Kings - El Deir El Bahari. The excursion includes a visit to the Valley of Kings, where the tombs of various dynasties and the Temple of Deir El Bahari can be explored. This valley, used for nearly 500 years from the 16th to 11th century BC, contains rock-cut tombs for the pharaohs and powerful nobles of the New Kingdom.
Colossi of Memnon - The next stop is at the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous seated statues representing Amenophis III, facing the Nile. These statues have stood since 1350 BCE in the Theban Necropolis, west of the River Nile from modern Luxor.
Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - The tour continues with a visit to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Lunch is served on board as the cruise sails to Esna. Afternoon tea is followed by a disco party. Overnight stay on board in Edfu.
The Temple of Horus in Edfu & the Temple shared by the two Gods Sobek & Haroeris in Kom Ombo
Edfu Temple - After breakfast on board, guests visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. The cruise then sails to Kom Ombo, with lunch served on board.
Temple of Kom Ombo - The next visit is to the Temple shared by the two Gods Sobek & Haroeris in Kom Ombo. Afternoon tea is served, followed by dinner on board and a Galabya party. Overnight stay on board in Kom Ombo.
The High Dam, the Granite Quarries & the Temple of Philae
Aswan High Dam - After breakfast on board, the cruise sails to Aswan. Upon arrival, guests visit the High Dam and the Granite Quarries. The Aswan High Dam, constructed between 1960 and 1970, is the world’s largest embankment dam, built across the Nile in Aswan, Egypt.
Temple of Philae - The tour continues with a visit to the Temple of Philae, with lunch served on board. This extensive temple complex, relocated to the island of Agilika due to the construction of the High Dam, includes the magnificent Temple of Isis, built in the late Ptolemaic and early Roman periods.
Mausoleum of Aga Khan - Guests will sail on the Nile by felucca around Kitchener’s Island and the Aga Khan Mausoleum. Afternoon tea is served, followed by dinner on board. Overnight stay in Aswan. The Mausoleum of Aga Khan is the resting place of Aga Khan III, Sir Sultan Muhammed Shah, who passed away in 1957. It is located in Aswan along the Nile, as Egypt was once the center of power for the Fatimids, an Ismaili Shia dynasty.
