Egypt is welcoming to Americans - Meeting Amr was a breath of fresh air, specifically after being in Egypt for a few days and encountering the hustlers as they aggressively look to prey on tourists - women tourists to say the least. Amr was different and we knew almost immediately that we would be safe and treated with respect. He was professional, personable, patient, polite, humble, knowledgeable, confident, and he cared about our interests. We loved that he was not pushy and aggressive like others we met. He understood and acknowledged our views as opposed to the life in Cairo.
Prior to taking our adventure, he explained what we would be doing by providing a detailed description to include the history. When he thought I overpaid him, she explained the conversion method and informed me the amount he owed me. I then informed him it was hip tip.
We had an interesting ride in a felluca as we sailed in the river and learned the history. Amr is also great at taking pictures. He took beautiful shots of us as the sun glistened. We walked the streets of Cairo and were introduced to koshary. OH MY… it was delicious! The spices set it off 🔥.
We went to Cairo Tower to explore the beauty of the night scenery. It was an amazing view. Amr had us to stand in the perfect spots to capture the best photos. We then went to a tea and coffee spot where people were out enjoying hookahs, listening to music and sipping tea and/or coffee. The vibe was cozy!
I highly recommend Amr for your tour guy in Egypt. NO SCAMS or pressure whatsoever! He welcomed us and we felt comfortable. He even agreed for us to video him. Now he’s apart of my United States Facebook family. Thanks Amir!!! It was fun 🤩

Nice experience - Ιt was a nice experience, Mohamed is a very friendly and good guide, who also arranged for me to get brought at my hotel without any extra charge. The Highlight was the private Boat tour in Nil, where you could enjoy on your own, when every other Boat was filled with tourists!
The entrance fee of the Cairo Tower was 300 egp and feluca 200 egp

Unique and Intimate - Very intimate tour of some great sites in downtown Cairo. The tour guides were very professional albeit about 45 minutes late. Saw the Cairo Tower, rode a Feluca boat on the Nile, had Koshary dinner, and ended the night at a nice cafe with shisha. The guides were very chatty (so be prepared to talk a lot) and knowledgeable. Would recommend!

Con artists - I paid for a long-haul ticket, never got the e-tickets and couldn't get a refund. After several calls, they apparently blocked me, I never saw the 1650€ again. A total scam

Dismal experience, I feel ripped off and cheated - I have rented a vehicle in Europcar booking days in advance for Fuerteventura airport in the call for the reservation have written down the flight number in case there was delay, it was supposed to arrive at 21:30 and the flight was delayed arriving at 22:20. What was my surprise that when he arrived at the Europcar stan there was no one. No phone, no one to deliver the car, I had to rent in another rental car to get out of there, arriving at my destination hours late, already go 4 emails and countless calls to claim my money and nothing. In the Europcar app they eliminated that same reservation (having all the previous ones reflected) I have a monumental piss, more than for the money, for the nefarious Service and solutions in a case like this. It is not advisable to rent before these unpresentables.

SCAM - I booked a hotel by AGODA in Paris, the Novotel Suits Paris Montreuil Vncennes.
AGODA IMMEDIATELY USED MY CARD TO COLLECT, ALTHOUGH IT WAS A FREE CANCELLATION BOOKING. He didn't listen to my claims and never accepted that this wasn't agreed. HE RIPPED ME OFF. Eventually I had no choice but to stay at that hotel, but it is horrible its location, far from everything, in a dirty neighborhood and far from Paris that one wants to know and enjoy. After 2 days, I couldn't take it anymore and moved out of the hotel. You mean, they charged me 2 nights without giving me the Service, and nobody, NOBODY, listened to my claim, the hotel washed their hands and also, they received the reservation by BOOKING!!! That is, I was charged 2 commissions. when I received the card statement I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT!!! I had a good concept of Booking, but now 3I am wary of Booking too. And needless to say, of that hotel and staff, WARNING: never stay at the Novotel Suists Paris Montreiul and NEVER EVER BOOK WITH AGODA. AND STUDY WHAT YOU DO WITH BOOKING WELL.

Fly go scam - Made 748 euros of tickets with n°108559312 money withdrawn but the reservation after 14 days no trace, tried to call all possible numbers but no one answers I will have to rely on a lawyer to get refunded absolutely not booked are scammers thieves

Family holidays ruined - To all travellers, our experience with HolidayCars and AddCar is one of organized dishonesty, proof of which.
I booked and paid in full a Skoda Octavia from 30 June to 3 August 2025 via HolidayCars. Arrived at Fez airport on 30 June at 21:30 , no AddCar office present. Obligation to call an agent.
Endless wait of 1 hour in the heat with 3 children, without water or assistance.
AddCar offered a Dacia Dokker (unsuitable utility) when I had booked a family sedan. I REFUSED this non-compliant vehicle.Their agent claimed that they had NEVER had the Skoda Octavia in fleet in Fes. Would HolidayCars sell fictitious reservations?
I have NEVER received the reserved vehicle, service not provided. One week after the start of the rental (July 7), NO REFUNDS made.
HolidayCars and AddCar block my money while passing the responsibility on to each other. RUN AWAY FROM THESE COMPANIES!

Goldcar to Avoid at All Awards - Goldcar is an aranque
Are dishonest and charged me 350 euros extra either saying that my Visa card is a debit card. While it's well marked on credit card. So either I had to accept their insurance any risk of 350 euros or he withdraws 1400 euros that he will refund after the return of intact car.
Besides, they Locked me 110 euros for full gas, which he'll pay back if the car back is full.
All this without knowing if they're really gonna pay him back.
In short absolutely to avoid this honest and banditish evil companion
