Magical evening on lake Saimaa with Seal spotting - What a wonderful evening on the Seal Safari! It was one of the best excursions I have ever been on! really magical evening with beautiful sun and very calm lake with reflections … and we were so very lucky and spotted 4 seals including a baby seal swimming very close! Also saw a Fish Eagle and Black Grouse. Fantastic Guide, Arto can explain about the area, the ringed seal and this very special place on earth so well and makes everyone feel welcome and happy on board. Great Coffee break with homemade buns. I can highly recommend this trip and am already thinking of whom to take next time! Thank you very much for this beautiful safari 🙏🏻

Fishing trip - We had a great 2 h cruise. Our four young children liked the boat very much, because it was so fast. The boat was big and stable. We saw two ospreis, one norpa, and had a picnic while fishing.

A must to see rare seals on a beautiful lake! - We are 3/4 through a 40 day DIY tour. Our morning lake tour is the highlight so far! We had a wonderful time and got to see two ringed seals, one of the main reasons we visited Lake Saimaa. The electric boat is quiet and comfortable—blankets and binoculars are available for use. Alto is a fantastically knowledgeable, kind, and generous guide. It was so great seeing these rare animals in their natural habitat. We learned a lot about the seals, how they became protected, and more about Finland and Finnish culture. Highly recommend the Okkola buffet which is where you park to walk to the boat. Thank you so much, Arto! We very much enjoyed the boat tour and our lunch together!

Great boat trip - We had such a lovely 3 hour boat trip with Arto. We managed to spot 3 seals which was more than expected! Arto was very knowledgeable and such a lovely man - it’s clear to his passion for the area (and the seals!). It was a relaxing evening on the water finished with a bonus coffee and cake. We really enjoyed ourselves - would highly recommend. Thank you for having us.

Just GREAT! Exceptional 💚 - What a wonderful excursion! Despite the rain, Arto kept us in suspense with his stories and all his knowledge of Finland during the 3 hour cruise on Lake Saimaa. We didn’t find any seals – these are the laws of nature 😉 – but could observe a family of ospreys and an exceptional region. With no noise thanks to the electric motor, you can sail out of time... Highlight of our Finland trip! - We had a great time on this boat tour and got to see two ringed seals, one of the main reasons we visited Lake Saimaa. The boat is quiet and comfortable. It was raining for hours during the day and the weather was pretty chilly. The boat's cover and zipped windows protected us from the elements and there were blankets keeping us warm. Alto is a great guide and knowledgeable. He knows the spots where the seals come up and pointed to us when he spotted them. It was so great seeing these rare animals in their natural habitat. We learned a lot about the seals, Finland and Finnish culture while enjoying some hot tea and homemade pastries. We got a glimpse of the peace and quiet of the Finnish lakes. Highly recommend this tour to natute lovers.

Beautiful trip to Saimaa seals - Arto was a wonderful guide who brought us closer to the story of the endangered Saimaa seal. We saw three pieces on one stone that night. Later there was a kafi break in the middle of the lake. Just wonderful. Arto, thank you very much for everything! Anytime again!

Amazing! Seals, stories, coffee and sweet - It was an amazing experience! Arlo is a fantastic guide, explaining everything about Lake Saimaa and the seals very clearly. The little break in the middle of the Lake, looking for the seals, with coffee and a sweet, is delightful. I definitely recommend it and would do it again if I go back to Finland!
