Putrajaya, Malaysia’s administrative capital, is a city that seems to have sprung from the pages of a futuristic novel. The Millennium Monument was another unexpected delight. As I walked up the ramps, I was treated to sweeping views of the waterfront, and the panels along the walkway illustrated Malaysia’s rich history. It’s a place where past and present converge, offering a glimpse into the country’s journey.

I headed to Kelab Tasik Putrajaya for an evening cruise, which offered a different perspective of the city. The reflections of the lights on the water were mesmerizing, and the lively atmosphere on the boat was infectious.

Putrajaya’s nightlife is vibrant, with plenty of events and activities to keep you entertained. From cultural performances to food festivals, there’s always something happening in this “intelligent garden city.” I found myself drawn to the local markets, where the energy was palpable, and the aromas of street food were irresistible.
