Good day on the water. - I’ve fished with Jason CR Fishing Charters before and have always had a great experience. Reputable company, good solid boat. We did the 3 hour tour and that was plenty of time to get some good fish. Jason is very nice, easy to coordinate with over email, and runs a good, reliable operation. This time we had a different captain—he was a solid fisherman and clearly knew what he was doing, though not particularly friendly or welcoming. That said, we caught fish, which was the goal, and had a good day on the water. Overall, a good experience!

The best - So 1st off I want to say I’m an experienced fishing captain in Alaska, and I’ve been out fishing with several different tours in Costa Rica over the last several years. Our recent trip with Miguel was by far the best. They were absolutely professional and very experienced, it was a great success and very reasonable. We usually stay at Roma Del Mar casa 21 best views and accommodations in Costa Rica then drive over early morning to fish. I will absolutely book with them again !! Can’t wait to go out and catch more !

Highly recommend well... - Highly recommend well worth it guide knows exactly where to go we fished till we were exhausted and ask to go back.

Fun first time! - Beautiful views, caught a little tuna and a huge Roosterfish (catch and release). Family struggles a bit with motion sickness so we cut it short, still a great time.

Varied afternoon! - We had a very fun afternoon !! we knew the weather was complicated, but despite everything we could see whales, fish and have a good time, excellent care.

Great day on the boat. - Great fishing trip! The guide, Erik, was very knowledgeable. We caught a bunch of skipjack tuna, a yellow fin tuna, and I reeled in a Rooster! Awesome day on the boat. They cleaned it for us after and we ate like kings and queens that night.

We caught so many fish that people were handing the rod over because their arms were tired. - Jason Tours was great to work with and our guide David put us on more fish than some of my crew could handle. I would definitely book with them again.

Not great - Did not catch anything. Didn’t seem like the captain was that motivated to catch fish. We just went around in circles, trolling blindly it seemed like. There wasn’t any explanation of what type of fishing we would be doing. One expensive boat ride. I would skip fishing in Mal Pais
