Amazing excursion! - My husband, teenage son and I took this tour with Yara yesterday and had an amazing experience. She has a keen eye for spotting sloths, monkeys, lizards, birds and a vast knowledge of the flora and fauna. We are so grateful to have had this experience with her- she kept it fun and interesting!

Fine trip with sympathetic guide who knew a lot - Guide was a sympathetic guest who spoke good English and knew a lot about the area. He took all the time and made it a nice one anyway. Especially the canoe trip was fun. Many animals spotted, including sleeping bats. . Excursions are not cheap in Costa Rica, but this one was definitely worth the money

Fun experience! - Alex was a good guide who was knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna, and the area. The hike to the overlook was slippery from recent rains, but not very difficult and definitely worth it. The view was beautiful! The kayak was serene and we got to see many different types of animals. While you don't have to have a guide for this experience, it is much nice to have someone show you the way to the overlook and take care of all the kayak rental and portage. I would definitely recommend doing this excursion!

Incredible experience. - You need to do this, and do it with Rob!!! He has a vast knowledge of the ecosystem and ethnobotany. His abiilty to spot sloths, iguanas, howler monkeys, and other animals is uncanny as suggests that he has developed a highly refined visual system, and he's also an incredibly nice human being.

Exciting and interesting guided tour - The tour with Rob was extraordinarily beautiful and very educational. Rob has shown and explained many animals and plants to us. We've seen 15 sloths and much more. Kayaking on the river was very relaxed and peaceful. Thank you for the lovely experience.

Amazing Guide and Sightings - Francisco made this excursion amazing. He grew up around Punta Uva and knows it like a best friend. Plus he’s the chillest guy and kindness shines in his eyes. We saw so many sloths, monkeys, iguanas, birds, turtles and insects — plus all the trees, vines and culture of the area. Francisco has knowledge and stories of them all. But mostly his heart is on conservation and protecting this beautiful area. 10/10 recommend!

Highly recommended ** :-) - I would recommend the kayak and jungle walk Tour.  We were the only people, so we had our own private tour with Rob our friendly tour guide. His knowledge and keen eye for spotting the abundant wildlife added to the experience. There were a few big groups, but we managed to avoid them as the creek was wide enough in places. We found it very immersive drifting along in the kayaks observing the surroundings with the sunlight beaming down through the tall tree canopy above listening to the sounds of the rainforest. The highlight of our trip has the numerous turtle & sloth sightings and even being able to observe one lowering its self-down to the river to drink water.  Best way to get there was by Tuktuk one way then pick one up from the carpark afterwards.
