The adventure begins with a search for whale sharks in their natural environment. As these are wild creatures, sightings are dependent on nature and cannot be guaranteed. Once whale sharks are spotted, the activity adheres to strict environmental guidelines to protect the species.
If fewer than 5 whale sharks are in the vicinity, the experience will involve observing them from the boat.
When 5 or more whale sharks are present and conditions are favorable, guests will have the chance to enter the water in pairs, always accompanied by a certified guide. Each pair will take turns entering the water before returning to the boat, ensuring every participant has the opportunity to swim with whale sharks. Depending on sea conditions, wildlife activity, and park regulations, guests may enter the water up to three times.
Please be aware that whale sharks swim at approximately 5 km/h, so participants should be comfortable swimming in open water.
