- 35461 Washington Loop Rd - This is our premiere Stargazing Tour experience! Upon your arrival at our Dark Sky site, join up to 9 other astronomy enthusiasts for private hands-on exploration. Your night will include a seat in the circle for an introduction to the night sky with laser-guided description of what to look at. Binoculars will be provided to aid in finding objects. The tour includes plenty of telescope time with our large Celestron Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. The Dark Sky site is fully accessible and part of the Charlotte County Florida parks system.

Our tour location is at Hathaway Park, part of the Charlotte County Parks system. As you arrive at the park, please pull forward along the main entry drive. We will be setup in the grassy area on your left. Long pants and long sleeve shirts are recommended due to the possibility of mosquitos.

This was fantastic. He... - This was fantastic. He was VERY knowledgeable and patient. It is cold in the area, we did not dress warmly enough and should have brought a warm blanket.
I learned a lot!

Amazing Experience! - Amazing experience. My wife and I came for Valentine’s Day. We are not the most knowledgeable on astrology, but this was an amazing experience. We had a ton of fun, perfect for a nice date.

Out of this world activity! - We weren’t quite sure what to expect and were pleasantly surprised with how awesome this was! First off, Jason was extremely knowledgeable and friendly! He taught us all sorts of stuff and showed us some incredible stuff through the telescope. Extremely well done with snacks/beverages as well. Highly recommend this with family/friends to do something a little different!

This was INCREDIBLE! Thank you so much - This was absolutely INCREDIBLE! We had such a great time. Our host sat us down and gave us a close up on all the stellar bodies we could hope to see and told the stories of the constellations. The views were amazing and the whole event was so well done. My girlfriend said it was the best thing she’d ever done, and the hot chocolate was also a classy touch. My only warning, the location that Apple and Google Maps has for Starry Night is NOT the park that the event is hosted in, follow the address from the tour page to find the right spot. That one almost got us! We loved this.

Nice night out - This was an enjoyable tour. Guide was knowledgable and views were spectacular. The highlights were the view of Saturn and its ring, the craters on the moon and so much more. This tour is highly recommended!

Beautiful night sky - I have always been an amateur star gazer, so this experience was perfect! Looking up at the milky way and we saw Saturn, and the andromeda galaxy, Vega, and several shooting stars. The weather was perfect, the location was very good and the telescope we were privileged to look through was amazing! Then we also got binoculars and looked up at the stars and found out you can see so much with a simple pair of binoculars! This was a great experience!!

Star and mythology guided tour! - Jason was fantastic! His deep knowledge of the starry skies and mythology made for a mesmerizing experience. He captivated us with rich, engaging stories about the origins of the constellations, bringing legends to life with every word. We would absolutely rebook with him when we’re in town again!

Outstanding experience with phenomenal host! - Jason was the absolute guest host and brilliant educator! Even down to the snacks and beverages he served, everything was on point and made for a really fun, different date night. We will be back in the fall to see more!
