Mud connection - Careful guided tour, if you like mud baths, this is for you lol. Souvenir tour was filled with info, items there a bit expensive but you only live once. The macao beach was a great twist ending, where you can buy coconut, drink at the beach bench. You'll get accosted by sales guys a lot but try to be nice.

Mudddy - This tour was perfect for me and my 🧳 Travel group. I had read some things where people were concerned with safety and the mechanics of the equipment and that made me reluctant to book. However, the experience was not bad as I would have thought. There are some things that are less than perfect, but I would definitely book this tour again especially for the price. I wish we had taken an alternate route to the beach to avoid getting muddy but have mud on the route back. My ideal would be beach, mud then cenote.

A day full of adrenaline and nature - The Buggy Adventure was the highlight of our vacation. The trails were challenging, but very fun. We stopped in a cave with crystal clear water, perfect for cooling off, and on a beautiful beach. A full day of adventure and fun!

Everything was well... - Everything was well organized and went smoothly. Be aware and plan for glasses and bandanas before as they are very expensive at the location.

Not Worth It!!! - I don’t recommend this excursion. It was slow-paced and underwhelming. You ride in a double buggy going no more than 10 mph, stopping at three locations. Stop 1: Gift Shop – You’re there for about 20 minutes. They sell souvenirs but don’t pressure you to buy anything, which was a plus. Stop 2: Beach – You get around 20 minutes to swim or relax. Food and drinks are available for purchase, but the time feels rushed. Stop 3: Cenote – The water is about 25 feet deep in a small cave. It was very crowded with other buggy groups and even locals jumping in, so it was hard to enjoy. There’s a rope to help you out of the water and a life jacket rental for $2 USD. You’re only there for around 20 minutes. The roads were completely dry when I went in August 2025—no mud at all, so if you’re expecting a fun, messy ride, this isn’t it. Overall, the experience was safe — the rides between locations and back to the hotel were fine. But the actual excursion lasts only about an hour (not counting travel time), and it really wasn’t worth the time or money. You’re better off relaxing at your resort. Also, skip the horseback riding. It was just a slow walk around the beach and gift shop—nothing exciting.

Be prepared - Face and eye coverings are mandatory (this was not mentioned in the booking page.) Bring your own or be prepared to pay $5 for a bandana and $10 for goggles. The cenotes were fun but the buggys broke down once and did not have lap belts that properly secured. The staff simply tied them to the bars on the buggy. We also spent 90 minutes driving around trying to find two people that wrote down the wrong hotel in their booking.
