Good half day snorkel trip short drive from downtown Punta Cana - Multiple snorkeling and party boat options are offered. We did the platform snorkeling because it offered more independent snorkeling and a smaller group. They take you to a large platform 15 minutes from shore and you are free to use all activities for 3+ hours. Great selection of tropical fish in the reef. Separate fenced in pool to swim with nurse sharks and Rays. Also kayaking, including glass bottom boat kayaks, water bicycles, paddleboards and 15 minute massages included. Small snacks and fruit. No alcohol. We enjoyed it. Only negative is the fed the fish bread to attract them and the zoo like treatment of the sharks and rays.

Snorkeling with Marinarium - Marinarium excursions took great care of us during our snorkeling excursion! The staff were: lively, friendly, and so welcoming. They treated us like family. The experience was amazing! I’m an animal lover, the only downside for me was I thought we would be snorkeling with the sharks and stingrays in the wild. Both were in habitats for the enjoyment of people. The sharks were huddled in corners. The stingray was repeatedly flapping, trying to get away while people were holding it in and out of water while having their pictures taken. Other than snorkeling in the ocean, seeing the beautiful beaches, coral and fish was an amazing time. The staff even made us homemade coco loco, and provided snacks. It truly was a great time!

Marvelous Marinarium Excursions and Snorkeling Cruise - The entire crew and the vessel were wonderful! It was clear they cared about their guests and had their safety and comfort in mind. We would like to applaud all the crew Roger, Kariono, Jose Miguel, Jose Luis( who was a big help to me personally when I got a little tired in giving me a kind hand swimming back to the vessel), Andy, Cristopher and Estonlin. I trust I did not leave anyone out. There was good snorkeling and every activity was enjoyable. In general the feeling was a vibe of happiness welcome and sharing their music and culture. We would recommend this to all The glass bottom part of the boat was maybe slightly overstated- you could see a few fish when they stopped, but this is not the main attraction you should go for. It is crew and the actual water experiences were just so much fun! The reefs are not like those in Bonaire- but there were enough colorful fish to delight.

Awesome day with Marinarium - This was the highlight of my trip! Marinarium offered an incredible experience that I'll never forget. Swimming with the sharks and rays was thrilling and the staff made sure we felt safe the entire time. They were so knowledgeable and passionate about these amazing creatures. Afterward, the party on the catamaran was a blast! The music was great, the open bar had a fantastic selection of cocktails, and the snacks were perfect - light enough to enjoy before swimming but still satisfying. We even had the chance to jump off the boat for a swim in the beautiful, clear water. A couple of things to note: It was a bit windy the day we went, which made the swim a little challenging. Also, a quick intro to snorkeling techniques might be helpful for beginners. Overall, this was an amazing day and I highly recommend Marinarium to anyone visiting the area. It's a must-do!

Boat and snorkeling great, sharks and rays very sad - The boat trip and the snorkeling was great. Although I would have liked longer snorkeling. Entertainment was lively but not overwhelming. It wasn't great seeing the sad looking sharks and rays trapped in quite a small area though. (The trip was sold as though all the sealife was wild)

- Bought the picture package, but could never access the site to get my pictures. On line chat would not help me. Have a receipt and an access number but it always says no photos. Paid in cash. Was I scammed?

Not worth the money - We were told this was a four hour excursion. Bus arrived late to the hotel for pick up. It wasn’t a bus but rather an over crowded van. On arrival at the beach had to wait for another bus to arrive. Was most surprised to see families with young children and infants on what had been presented sold as an adults type excursion. We didn’t get to the boat until well past 2:15 (excursion “started” at 12:45 pickup but this was really 1:15 or so. Snorkeled for perhaps 30 minutes in an enclosed area with sting rays and nurse sharks. Too many people there so space was overcrowded and water was a bit murky, not many sharks or sting rays to be seen. I thought we would be snorkeling in a more shallow area later on but was surprised that they took our masks and snorkel on return from the shark viewing. Corralled back to the boat and then set off for a lagoon. Snacks consisted of either a cheese sandwich or a cheese and ham sandwich. That’s it. Later was provided a small plate of pineapple and coconut slices and a few small cookies as a snack. Lots of boats anchored in this same lagoon, some people hopping in the water to enjoy a cold beverage with the balance remaining on board. While the staff were good and friendly this was a completely underwhelming snorkeling experience. Had a great snorkeling tour with Club Med in the DR, wonderful excursions in Kauai and the Big Island. They really need to step this up to make it worth the money. Do not recommend.

Only 35 minutes of snorkeling - This is a boat tour with a very little amount of snorkeling. We expected out of the 4 hour tour to be snorkeling a minimum of 2 hours. The reality was 35 min and rushed out of the water and then taken to this sand dune (that was weedy). I would’ve rather stayed at my hotel where the beach was really nice. We were at the Sand dunes for over an hour. ****before you book ask how long you will be in the water snorkeling or you will be left disappointed ******

Not for people with mobility issues, no matter what they say - This review is only based on the fact that our son has limited mobility and this was sold to us as something that would be suitable for him. the transfer into the boat required a big step down which we managed. But unfortunately the only way to get in the water required climbing a ladder, and then there was a very long swim to the snorkeling area. We ended up having to stay in the boat the whole time.. others seemed to have fun, but for us it was a waste of time and money.
