Worth every dollar. - The view is spectacular and the horses are well trained. Professional staff and the gift shop was reasonable.

Enjoyable Outing - Enjoyable experience. Fausto was did a great job as our guide and the horses were very good even for a first time rider. Great outdoor experience with the beach, forest preserve and Maimon River. Would definitely do the excursion again.

Glad we did it - Wonderful experience. Horses were all well geared up and trained. They did seem very well cared for. The majority, if not all, were shoed. The ride itself was quite long with a break in the middle. Prepare to get your shoes a little dirty though from ocean spray and wet sand. Excellent value for the price.

Views was nice but overall experience wasn’t the best - The overall experience was okay. Mainly the views of the beach was what we enjoyed the most. No instructions on what to do or how to ride, just helped us on the horses then we just rode off. We rode through the beach but then went onto concrete road where there was a lot of construction and traffic. Road Back onto the beach then back into the concrete road. It felt like we were on the horses so long we got extremely sore. My horse was doing what it wanted, pushing me into other horses or trying to ride me into the bushes so it could eat. The instructor do take your pictures for you. Toward the end they will pressure you to buy from gift shop and will be upset if you don’t. Which made the ride back very awkward and sketchy when dropping us back off at pick up point. The drive back was one of the worst rides I’ve ever had, driver was speeding and blasting music and swerving. Cool to experience horseback riding on the beach but won’t do again.

Only book if you are near Uvelo Alto - This excursion was mixed for us. First, the horseback riding was great. The employees were very helpful. You don’t have to be an experienced rider. They helped take some great pictures of us along the way. The beach is very pretty. The horseback riding part was a little over an hour. The transport was what made this excursion not so great. We booked the 9am ride. The day before we got a message to that we would be picked up at 8am. Our transport didn’t arrive until 8:50. I was messaging the tour operator because I figured they missed us. We were told they may have picked up other people first. Nope. We were the first ones. This ended up being a shared transport so it took close to 1.5 hours to pick everyone up and get to to where the ride started. So instead of a 9am ride it started at close to 10:30. That definitely made it less comfortable because it was getting hot. After the tour, we had to wait almost 1/2 hour for a couple people in our van to shop. Then it was almost 1.5 hours back. We didn’t get dropped off until close to 2pm. So we were gone from 8am-2pm and all we had was a single bottle of water. (The tour was advertised as 3 hours). So if you are in a hotel closer to the airport, I do not recommend this trip. They will pick you up but it’s not really worth it. If you are close to Uvelo Alto this may work better. But only if they run on time.

Don’t book unless staying near Uvelo Alto - I took this excision with my teen daughter. We booked the 9am. The day before we were told we had an 8am pickup. We didn’t get picked up until 8:50. And we were the first stop. We then went to a couple other resorts to pick up more people. So the trip there is almost 1.5 hours. We didn’t get there until close to 10:30 (for our 9am ride). The people who run the actual ride are great. That’s why I’ve giving this 3 stars. The horses were ready and we set off. The beach there is beautiful. We walked along the beach and through a forest. The employees were fantastic and stopped at lovely point and took pictures for us. Total riding time was a bit over an hour. Then we had to deal with transport back. We had to wait almost 1/2 hour for 2 people who decided to shop. Then another hour and twenty minutes back. We didn’t get back to our hotel until just before 2. Being gone from 8a-2p Is really a long trip for an activity that’s not much more than an hour. There’s no food. Just a bottle of water. If stating a hotel a lot closer, it wouldn’t be as bad. But only if they are running on time. Starting at 10:30 was pretty unpleasant because it was getting so hot.

Disappointed - We were never picked up at the designated location. We arrived 15 minutes early and waited an additional 45 minutes. No response to text or phone calls. I am very sad - not only were we super excited about this excursion but we had planned our day around it.
