Best trip - We use this service to transfer from the airport to our hotel. The driver was waiting with a sign with our name and helped us with the bags. The vehicle was clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned, which was a blessing after the airport heat

An adventure for a $23 refund - After waiting a week, I am writing a review. My flight was delayed so I messaged them via Viator and got confirmation that they received it. Upon arrival, I couldn’t find them in the sea of taxis and transportation personnel. Due to the very low internet speed at the airport I was not able to send or receive messages with the Viator App. They did not leave a phone number so I could not call or text them directly. I re-read where to meet- Departure Terminal B. It was very hot and I pre-paid so I was determined to meet our driver. We walked in the hot sun and stayed on the right side next to the building, passed the staff bus station, to terminal B. Looking back it was not too far - about a 5 minute walk. But when you’re new to some place everything outside the norm is an adventure. We went to different cars and vans who said that they are not from Punta Cana Transportation. An airport employee was very kind and let me link to his wifi but his internet speed was still very slow so it kept on buffering for a few minutes until I got frustrated and turned it off. After 40 minutes, we were hot and sweating, very upset, and really done with trying to meet the driver. So we agreed to get a taxi with the gentleman who was our “translator” for the same rate. Halfway to our hotel, we received a call stating that our taxi was waiting for us at the airport.. I told him what we went through and he said he will compensate us with a refund. Was all this aggravation easily worth a compensation of $23 refund?
