Uros Floating Islands - In the early morning, guests will be picked up from their hotel to head to Puno’s port. They will board a regular boat to begin the first excursion to the Uros Floating Islands. These stunning islands, crafted by hand, are constructed from totora reeds, with approximately 80 such islands in the area. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the welcoming community, learn about their customs, and experience their way of life.
Isla Amantani - Next, the journey continues to Amantani Island, navigating the vast Lake Titicaca. Upon arrival, the local community will extend a warm welcome. The island is home to 800 families and features significant ceremonial centers and shamans who predict the future using coca leaves. Guests will enjoy lunch with the locals, providing a chance to get to know them better and enjoy a pleasant time. Afterwards, they will ascend to Pacha Tata (4,100 m.a.s.l), the most important mystical ceremonial center on Lake Titicaca, to witness a breathtaking sunset. Dinner will be shared with the local people, and those interested can participate in activities with them. Overnight accommodations will be in basic rural houses.
Amantani - Taquile - Puno
Taquile Island - Following a traditional Andean breakfast, guests will board the boat to visit Taquile Island. Here, they will enjoy spectacular views of the lake, along with landscapes framed by mountains and a clear blue sky. A cultural presentation by the local community will be featured. Lunch will be accompanied by a special show featuring dances, music, and a photo session in traditional costumes.
Puerto de Puno - Finally, the boat will return to Puno’s port, followed by a transfer to the hotel.
