• Bribri - The visitor will be at an indigenous family, listen part of the indigenous history, watch and get explanation of the medicinal plants, taste a cocoa fruit, and lastly make chocolate.

“The journey will commence from Puerto Viejo at 7:45 a.m., with a 30-minute drive to the Bribri Indigenous Reserve. Upon arrival, participants will be welcomed by an Indigenous family eager to share their culture, traditions, and ancestral knowledge of medicinal plants. Guests will have the opportunity to explore a permaculture garden, savor fresh cacao fruit, and engage in the traditional chocolate-making process. Typically, a native Bribri guide from the Duriwak Bribri clan will lead the tour.

On the return trip, there will be a stop at a stunning waterfall in the Talamanca mountains, where guests can delight in a refreshing swim in the natural pool beneath the falls. Following this rejuvenating pause, the group will head back to Puerto Viejo.”
