Setting Sail on the Bahia

The sun was just beginning to rise over the horizon as I made my way to the marina, the anticipation of the day ahead buzzing in the air. The Isla Marietas Adventure promised a full day of nature exploration and water activities, and I was eager to dive into the experience. As a former professional surfer, the ocean has always been my playground, and the thought of exploring the Islas Marietas by catamaran was too tempting to resist.

Upon arrival, the friendly staff greeted us with warm smiles and a smooth check-in process. The catamaran was a beauty, and as we set sail, the crew welcomed us with a hearty breakfast. Snorkeling and the Journey Back

When we arrived at the reef, I was eager to snorkel and explore the underwater world. However, the sea was a bit too rough, and the area was crowded with fellow adventurers. Lunch was served at Nopalera Beach, a delicious spread that included a hamburger, shrimp, and a salad bar. The scenery made the meal even more enjoyable, a perfect pause before the journey back. As we sailed back to the marina, the crew turned up the music, and the open bar added a festive touch to the return trip. The sound system was a bit loud for my taste, but the lively atmosphere was contagious, and I found myself joining in the karaoke fun.
