Setting Sail to Los Arcos

The sun was just beginning to rise over the horizon as I found myself in the heart of Puerto Vallarta, ready for a day of exploration at Los Arcos National Park. The promise of snorkeling and cave adventures had lured me in, and I was eager to dive into the experience. Meeting up with a small group of fellow adventurers, we hopped on a public bus to Mismaloya, a quaint town just a short ride away. The anticipation was palpable as we made our way to the beach, where our journey would truly begin.

Our guides for the day, Sebastian and Enrique, were a pair of stepbrothers whose enthusiasm was infectious. They greeted us with warm smiles and a laid-back vibe that immediately put everyone at ease. As we arrived at Paddle Zone, our base for the day, I couldn’t help but admire the stunning views of the beach from its rocky perch. With a clean bathroom and outdoor shower, it was the perfect spot to prepare for our adventure.
