The best OG Taco101 Tour - Memo (tour guide) is extremely knowledgeable and so so nice. He gave us a great taco tasting experience.

I officially have a "taco baby" and I’m not even mad about it! - We spent the day on a walking tour with Vallarta 101 (sponsored by the International Friendship Club), and let’s just say "walking" was mostly just a way to make room for more food. We hit five spots—some we’ve walked past for years but never tried. Big mistake! From the breakfast tacos at La Campanario, the Birria and consomé at Chanfay, the carnerias at Canaria to the shrimp at Mariscos Cisneros, everything was 10/10. We even managed to squeeze in paletas from La Michoacana at the end, despite being stuffed to the gills. Pro Tip: If you do this tour, do NOT eat breakfast. Actually, maybe don't eat the night before either. It’s a delicious marathon, and our guide was an absolute pro at herding us through the streets while dropping some amazing local history. Highly recommend for anyone visiting (or living in) PV! 🇲🇽✨

Fantastic tour! - We learned a lot about tacos and enjoyed our day! Memo is full of knowledge and took great care of us. We had a fantastic tour and were stuffed by the end! My only complaint (if that) was our tour was about 3.5 hours rather than two, and we had another activity we had planned so we had to go at the end very quickly. But aside from that, very enjoyable!

If you’re searching for a food tour, pick this one!! If you’re not searching for a food tour, still pick this one!! - Such a great experience! It ended up being only my partner and I on the Taco 101 Daytime Tour (pay as you go) and it felt personable and fun. Memo was a great guide and showed us some amazing spots that we would’ve never tried otherwise! He even went out of his way to show up some local markets. We’re usually not one for food tours because we feel they can be disingenuous if there is a paid partnership between the guide and restaurants BUT this is quite the opposite. Memo knew the owners and chefs of each restaurant and even locals walking by stopped to say hello and chat! Would high recommend and make sure to do this early in your trip so you can return to all the other spots he recommends!

Great street taco tour. - Memo really knows his stuff. We loved the tour and got to taste several delicious tacos and learn about Puerto Vallarta. After this taco tour you will be far less apprehensive about eating at a local taco stand. It was not a difficult walk.

This is the taco tour you want - My friend and I had the absolute best time on our Taco101 tour with Memo! From the moment we met him, he made us feel like true friends rather than just tourists. As a local, he knew all the best taco spots, places we never would have found on our own, and every single recommendation was incredible. For real, put your trust in Memo's expertise and you will not be disappointed! Not only was the food amazing, but we also had great conversations along the way, learning about Mexican food culture and chatting about life in general. We loved the experience so much that we booked a Taco102 tour a few days later, and it was just as fantastic. My only regret is that I couldn't eat more. Definitely go hungry. If you're looking for an authentic and delicious food tour, look no further. I cannot wait to return to Puerto Vallarta and do another tour with him! 🌮🔥
