Great day with Stephen - My day with Stephen was very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend the tour to anyone interested in a fun day. The walking was very educational and the food choices excellent. I especially liked the octopus taco and having a chance to see the streets in Versailles.

Amazing day with Karla! - Karla was an amazing tour guide! We had so much fun! She went out of her way accommodate our sweet Matthew who isn’t a taco guy but loves his CocaCola. Can’t wait to do another excursion with Karla!

Great food and interesting neighborhood! - The Taco Lover's Tour in Versalles was fantastic! We stopped at 5 different taco places and then a sixth for dessert. Each place had a different type of taco and different types of meat, so it was a great tasting experience. We also enjoyed seeing a neighborhood that we would not ordinarily have seen. Kevin was an excellent guide. He not only described the types of tacos we were eating, but also gave some history of how the types developed. As we walked around the neighborhood of Versalles, he provided some history and culture of the area. I highly recommend this trip. I have two tips! Come hungry. They aren't kidding that it is a lot of food. And wear comfortable shoes for the walking. The streets and sidewalks are uneven.

A Must-Do Taco Tour — Perfect for Families with Kids! - We booked the Taco Lovers: Versalles tour as a family of four (two adults, two young kids), and it ended up being one of the absolute highlights of our trip. From start to finish, everything was smooth, delicious, and incredibly family-friendly. Communication was clear right from the booking. The emails made the meetup easy to navigate, and we had no trouble finding our guide, Kevin, who greeted us warmly and instantly put us at ease. We had a stroller with us, and Kevin thoughtfully adjusted the entire route to stay on flat roads instead of the usual cobblestone paths. He was patient with every kid-related need—diaper changes, little snack preferences, sunscreen breaks—and even helped us pick up a handheld fan and sunscreen along the way. We never once felt rushed. We visited six fantastic stops: five very different taco spots plus a dessert stop. Each location had its own style and specialties, and honestly, it was impossible to choose a favorite because everything was so good. Drinks were included as well, and Kevin made sure we tried a variety of local beverages throughout the tour. What really made this tour special was Kevin’s personal connection to the community. He clearly had close relationships with the vendors, who welcomed him (and us!) with warmth and friendliness. The whole experience felt like being introduced to someone’s favorite neighborhood rather than simply going on a food tour. We learned a lot about Mexican culture, regional taco styles, and the stories behind each spot. We would never have found these places on our own—and that’s exactly what made the tour feel so authentic and memorable. It was perfectly paced for families, but truly, anyone who loves good food would enjoy this. We would absolutely do this again when we return in the future. Highly, highly recommend!

Versailles taco tour and Karla Señorita Taco - Karla was extraordinary and the experience was both fantastic and felt very personal. Our group size of only 3 made it very easy and every trip was quick and full of information. The restaurants all had different atmospheres but one thing stayed the same the staff of each were more than accommodating and spoke to us as if we were friends. It’s definitely worth the price if Karla is your guide!

Versalles taco tour - We had a fantastic afternoon with Karla, our guide. She is personable, knowledgeable, and such fun to spend time with. Over the course of three and a half hours, we enjoyed an incredible selection of tacos from four different local spots and finished with a delicious dessert. This was our first time exploring the Versalles neighborhood, and it turned out to be the perfect opportunity to discover a vibrant area we’d never visited before. Karla’s enthusiasm and insights made the experience even more memorable, blending culture, flavor, and laughter into one unforgettable tour. If you’re looking for a way to truly savor Puerto Vallarta, I say go, eat, and be merry—you won’t regret it.

<3 tacos - My family and I all really enjoyed the Taco tour in Versalles. We tried several styles of tacos, aguas frescas, and salsas. All were local businesses crowded with locals (or at least Spanish speakers) and clearly prioritized cleanliness and sanitation. And the tacos slapped. I’ll dream of those pork belly tacos from the first stop. Kevin and Stephen are excellent guides and taught us quite a bit about the local taco culture and how it compares to that in other regions.

Karla will take great care of you! And you will not leave hungry! - We had a wonderful time with Karla as our guide in Versalles. It was very hot and humid during the late morning/early afternoon so Karla made sure we stood or sat in the shade or near a fan. Each stop had a nice history of the taco and of the shop owner which is always appreciated. As a result, I have few extra bookmarks in Google Maps for my next visit to Puerto Vallarta. With any luck, she will be your guide on this tour!

Great food of the locals - We had a wonderful time. Our tour guide Jenny has lived in Mexico her whole life and spoke fluent english. She told us about the history of the corn tortillas and different types. She explained the regional differences in names of dishes as well as a history of the Versalles area. It wasn't just tacos, we explored sope, volcanos, and pozole. She explained the history of each of the dishes and the different types of corn. I highly recommend this tour. Make sure you come hungry!
