Amazing Afternoon! - Karla and Amy met us at the Walmart Parking lot and got us safely on the bus for the ride to Sayulita. Once there we saw a good balance of “touristy” stuff and great vistas for photography. Karla has great energy and is extremely knowledgeable about local history as well as full of recommendations for seeing, eating and shopping. Having Amy, a native English speaker along was super helpful for two somewhat dazed American tourists. Karla matched our slow pace and gave us time to meander. The lunch stop at Mary’s was perfect and my chicken salad was as good a meal as I’ve had on any vacation. The whole experience was lovely. Highly recommended. (Would also recommend any of the Food Tours that Karla does in Puerto Vallarta.)

A great day in Sayulita - This trip was fun, interesting, and well worth the time. Sayulita has much to offer as a small town. The beach is beautiful. We ate at a restaurant right on the beach. The food was delicious and inexpensive. There are many shops and restaurants as well as street crafts. It is easy to walk around. There is easy bus access from Puerto Vallarta. Our guide, Glenn, was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I’m a photographer and he pointed out many excellent shots.

Freeform fun - When there's an opportunity to grab a day trip out of Puerto Vallarta with Dez, nab it! Not only does she have the local knowledge, but her easy going, yet attentive, manner makes everything pleasant and memorable. I joined with two other ladies on a Sayulita outing; we each had latitude to see and do whatever struck our fancy whilst ambling about. Great lunch pick, loved the leather purse shop, the bus rides to and from were phenom also. See you again in a month.

Review on City Photo Tour and Hike - We went to Puerto Vallarta for a week but really wanted to explore the natural beauty beyond the town so we booked a hike from Boca to Las Animas with Dez and I can’t begin to express how this has been the highlight of my trip. It’s been a month since we went and I’m still talking about it and going back soon with a girlfriend to do the same hike again! I highly recommend booking this hike (the entire hike, you are missing out if you only end up booking half of it) Dez was more than accommodating for breaks along the way and guidance through some of the terrain on the trail. (Please note: my husband isn’t a hiker at all, and he found this specific hike easy to moderate). Plus, Dez is an amazing host! You won’t be disappointed! We loved her so much, we ended up booking another tour with her, a City Photo tour through Sayulita a few days later. She is knowledgeable about the area and the only thing we would’ve don’t differently was had more time that day. She has many different tour options to choose from and I would do them all. I can’t say enough good things about her, and her tours! Highly highly recommend! Can’t wait to see you again soon!!
