The perfect choice for me. - From start to finish, everything is handled with exceptional professionalism, care, and attention to detail. The journey itself is scenic and comfortable, and once you arrive, you’re immersed in history, culture, and breathtaking mountain landscapes. Obi is outstanding — knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely passionate about sharing the rich heritage of the region. Every stop feels meaningful, well-paced, and thoughtfully curated, allowing you to fully enjoy the charm of this historic pueblo mágico. Plus everyone knows him and treats him well.

Cool Old Mining Town, Worth The Travel. - Our day trip to San Sebastián del Oeste was absolutely fantastic! The town is full of charm and history, and our guide made the experience unforgettable with interesting stories and local insights. We felt completely taken care of, and the private tour allowed us to explore at our own pace. Highly recommend this trip for anyone wanting a mix of culture, history, and stunning scenery from back in the 1800's.

Highly Recommend Obi Tours! - This is our second tour with Obi Tours and it did not disappoint. We had the pleasure of visiting this charming town and surrounding area with Obi himself and his wife. They both are extremely knowledgeable, kind, and accommodating. They also excel in communication…quick and regular emails were exchanged when planning this trip and after, along with a ton of pictures capturing the day. San Sebastián itself was charming and definitely not a place we would have visited on our own. Be sure to bring some extra cash if you love silver! We would definitely book with Obi again!

Obi was incredible. From... - Obi was incredible. From the moment he picked us up, we felt like family. The drive up and visit to San Sebastian was full of memorable stories, history, and sites. We were fortunate to stop at many spots including Lalo's tequila distillery, Comedor La Lupita for an amazing lunch (fresh, organic food - delicious!), Villa Cocoa for local chocolates, La Quinta Mari family coffee farm, and the San Sebastian Casa de Cultura Church and City museum. There we had a presentation from one of the descendants of the founding family. Obi's deep knowledge and personal connections made the trip even more special. If you want a truly memorable, local and authentic day tour, book this one. It's a full day of stops and conversation you won't forget and will be some of the best money you will ever spend. Thank you, Obi, for the incredible memories!!

San Sebastian de Oeste - Obi was a fantastic tour guide. Very knowledgeable about the area and the history. We had a great adventure visiting the Magic Towns of the mountains. The places we stopped, including the spot for coffee and pastries by the bridge was excellent. The mountains are so beautiful. Obi really took care of us and was very responsive, willing to make it 'our' trip to customize it to suit us. Highly recommend both the trip and Obi!

Was nice to see something different than Puerto Vallarta - Daniel picked us up from our AirBNB in Zona Romantica on time and drove us to San Sebastian and back. Was a great host to spend the day with. His SUV was a good size for my wife and out to see outside the windows and not a big bus that we would get sick on. He answered a lot of questions about the area and his English was great. On the way we visited a Tequila farm and got a demonstration of making Tequila. We don't drink so after the short demo we moved on to the next stop. Visited a small chocolate factory, visited an area where they sell opals and got a short demo of what opals look like and how they are mined. And visited a small coffee plantation and saw coffee been trees and some of the process. Had lunch in San Sebastian in the main plaza and then walked around the town and explored some of the back streets. There is not a lot to see in the town, but was nice to get away from Puerto Vallarta for a day and do something different. The drive is about 2 hours each way, so nice to see the countryside.
