Fantastic, well worth it. - Had been to Rhythms of the Night about 20 years ago but thought the experience and show was much better this time around. The trip over was great and we got lucky in seeing several whales. Very well organized even with the large number of people, the food was great and the show fantastic. Would highly recommend for family or friends.

Incredible night show - Absolutely amazing experience. The boat we were on was number 8. The crew was awesome. They made sure everyone was happy, brought people drinks and the crew even put on a show at the end full of music, and comedy. I’ve never experienced a tour company to put on such an entertaining performance. The night show was an acrobatics/fire/singing and storytelling a truly breathtaking show. In my opinion this was the highlight of my vacation.

Birthday Celebration. Don’t turn 80 every day. - The total experience was first class was and worth it. VIP extra cost made it a special night. The sunset part of the cruise was too early to enjoy before arriving at the rvent

Spectacular show and delicious dinner - It was an amazing experience all around. We opted for the Premier ticket, which meant we were able to board the boat first, we were in the first rows in the amphitheater for the show, and had a special dinner prepared by a chef and served at a lovely oceanside table. Dinner was delicious, and the show was an extravaganza of music, light, sparkle, comedy, and acrobatic wonderment. What a spectacle! The boat ride is pretty long, so long that I was dreading the long ride back to the city, but it was a great surprise to find that they had another small show prepared for us on the boat. And they opened up the front of the boat as a dance floor, and many people joined in the dancing. We just watched but the dancing and show made the return trip a lot of fun!

Additional fees - It was a great experience, well organized just very late. We didn't get to dinner until 9:30. Please also be aware that there is an Additional "island" tax that they chage at the port that Viator does not tell you about. This is in addition to the port tax. It was minimal but people were mad. Also, the boat crew will ask for tips so just be aware.

Rythms of the Night - We did the cheapest ticket. Getting on the boat is a bit of a gong show but worth it once you are on. The buffet was great food. The paths are lit up so pretty. The show was great. Lots of talented people. Boat 8 with JLo and the gang was so fun..

A beautiful show - This is absolutely worth the trip, the show was fantastic and the food was good. All of the staff are extremely friendly and the location is beautiful. Here’s a few tips though. Don’t get the VIP, it’s really not worth the extra cost. It says you get priority onboarding but that does not apply on the way back which is when it matters (due to the show) unless you leave the dinner before they ring the finishing bell. While we basically had front row seats for the show others who had vip were scattered throughout the theater. You also have to remember everyone has to pay a port fee when you get there and an additional fee at check in which was an additional $22 per person not listed on the website. Aside from that it was about 45 to and from the beach and theater so it’s about 5 hours total. Overall aside from this it was a very nice experience and it is worth for the show alone.

Not Cirque du Soleil Quality - Sorry, I know this is going to be different from many reviews, but we didn't think it was that great. If you've been to any real on-site Cirque du Soleil shows you may be disappointed. This is not the same quality, its more like a few random America's Got Talent acts thrown together. It certainly is not as good as the night show at Xcaret on the Mayan Riviera either, as it has no cultural or historical impact or story. So it depends on what you're looking for. In terms of value for money we didn't really think it was worth what we spent. We booked through our hotel's excursion desk, departed at the Nuevo Vallarta marina after paying the departure and port taxes, took the double hull catamaran for an hour to the "island" and went directly to the show since we were in the late booking. The environment was nice, with all the candles and torches, but the seats were hard as rocks, the show had a lot of filler in it with the green guy talking to the audience and a shadow puppet display, and although there were some characters in big costumes walking through the auditorium they weren't actually part of the show. The supper afterwards was rushed. We were told we would have time to walk around or go to the gift shop but because we were one of the last groups seated we only had time to eat quickly and then we were ushered out to the boat. We couldn't even grab dessert on the way out because it was all gone. Very disappointing since our supper was at 9:30 and we were hungry. On the boat it started to rain (which of course can't be controlled) but there weren't enough seats for everyone in the covered lower deck so we had to sit up top in the wind and the rain and got soaked. Overall we (four of us) didn't think it was worth the money we paid and wished we would have gone to see the Cirque du Soleil show instead.
