Fun experience for anyone wanting to zip line - We booked on our own vs the cruise ship and saved substantially. The main pickup office was only a few blocks from the boat so it was a 5 min walk we just put the address in Google Maps. The whole staff was friendly and everyone spoke English. The ride up was a little bumpy but that’s due to the roads. The whole staff was welcoming. Prepare to hike!! There is a decent amount of walking involved so wear appropriate shoes. The splines were fun and fast. I never felt they were sketchy I always felt safe. The food at the restaurant was okay. I would recommend this adventure it was a blast. We bought the photo package I think it was 60 bucks for all the photos

One of the best decision every - This was our first time ziplining. It was amazing. You do have to hike up to each zipline, but you can take a rest if needed. It was worth every moment. Also it was a last minute booking and they were able to accommodate us, so we could join the group.

Exhilarating Zip-line Adventure - We walked approx. 2 1/2 blocks from port to the shop. There we checked in. Check in process was smooth. Waited maybe five minutes then boarded one of their buses and headed up the mountain. Ride was easy and not too hot. Once at Canopy Park we were separated into our groups and off we went. We were assigned two guides Franco and another gentleman who greeted us, gave instructions and geared us up. They were both very professional, knowledgeable and aware. They checked on us often and lead us up the mountain safely as we crossed a total of 8 zip-lines. Above the canopy is majestic, they also have a restaurant and pool on the property. Be ready for rain because that’s just what happened. Such a magical experience!

An amazing experience for a great value! - This was an amazing experience and highly recommend it! I do have thoughts that could be done better though.
The Good
The experience itself is great! You get 8 zip lines with various levels of “thrill”, length, and speed. Each one felt as unique as the next. The guides were helpful and friendly throughout. And you get to end with an optional included tequila tasting (we bought the coffee one as it was that good)! It was also great that you get an included shuttle from a “nearby” destination, since we were on a cruise, we choose the one nearest to the port but there are other various pickup sites.
The Bad
I think some of the description of the tour needs some fine tuning. They really should include that there is some hiking inbetween zip lines and some are steep for those that have accessibility issues. Also, it says in the main header of information for the tour that there is food, but this is at an additional cost (though it is under the exclusions portion in a separate part).
The Ugly
This is definitely not a deterrent of the tour but it does leave a little bad taste in your mouth. You obviously cannot take your phone or a camera with you while zip lining. However, they have photos taken for you but this is an additional cost. The cost, $20 USD per photo or $60 USD for them all (as of April 2025). It’s something to definitely budget for if this is something critical you want in your experience.
Overall
I do still think this tour is well worth it for the experience and the ease of accessing it through various shuttle pickup points. Just know what you are getting into beforehand!

Amazing Zip-Lining Adventure! Just a few "things to know" as well... - Overall, this experience was absolutely great and something that we would strongly recommend to anyone going to Puerto Vallarta. Purchasing the adventure through Trip Advisor saved us about $100/person when compared to the cruise ship excursion prices. We were able to complete a total of 8 ziplines and had a very large and delicious lunch afterwards (at an additional cost) in the restaurant overlooking one of the canyons. We would definitely do this again if given the opportunity!
That being said, there were a few things that I wish we had been aware of, that the advertising hadn't mentioned, or at least we missed, so I'm happy to share with others:
1. It is possible for them to oversell the specific departure time. The office was way overpacked, the bus filled up and took off with only about a third of those that signed up for that time, and at first we thought we were going to have to wait another 30 minutes for another ride. Thankfully, two more "transportation vehicles" arrived shortly after and loaded up the rest of us. Our kids have said the drive to and from the actual location was almost as nerve-wracking as the ziplining.
2. There is A LOT of hiking involved in the zip-lining. I know some might think that's a given but we've been ziplining before that required zero hiking. In the past, we took lift rides to the top of the mountain and then ziplined all the way down. That is not the case with this one. Plan to make a decent hike to practically every platform. They do provide SOME water, but not at every station and they don't really give you the option to bring your own.
3. You are asked to lock up ALL of your belongings prior to starting the zip-lining. If you are wanting to bring a phone for your own pictures, make sure to wear shorts/pants with zipper or button pockets. If you drop your phone, it's gone! There's no getting it back. (They do take pictures for you that you have the option to purchase afterwards, which we did. We received roughly 150 pictures of our group of 10 and it cost us $160 for all of the digital copies, well worth it.)
4. Just before the final two zip-lines, you will walk across an extremely large cable bridge (see pic). Anyone with a fear of heights will have a rough time with it, even more so than the zip-lining. Zip-lining goes by very fast while the walk across the bridge takes a lot longer and it's moving/swaying the whole time. Even still, it's pretty cool!
Like I said, overall we enjoyed this zip-lining adventure a lot! The staff is great and friendly and makes sure you are taken care of. I just wanted to mention a few things that I wish we had known prior that would have helped us be better prepared for what was to come! Again, we absolutely recommend doing it, you will certainly have a good time!

Great for families, and minimum age of 8, which is better than cruise ship excursions - Other than a small mix up in where we were to meet for the transportation, which was quickly rectified, we had a great time. Transportation was clean and air conditioned. The trip was close to what was described only we did 9 zip lines instead of 11 that were advertised, and no mule rides, which was okay with everyone in our party. After the Zipline portion, we waited around longer than needed before heading back to the shop. We didn't partake in the free tequila tasting but had to wait on the other passengers in our van. We did pay for pictures at the end and the price wasn't really negotiable. There is food and drinks available for purchase also, but not required. Overall, the excursion was about 5 hours. We paid a really good price so no complaints. Would recommend booking several weeks in advance to get the best offer.

Fun Puerto Vallarta zipline tour for cruise ship passengers - Excellent, trustworthy, professional zipline experience with fun guides! Everything was top notch and I would take this zipline tour again. The pick up location is close to the cruise ship port and they dropped us back exactly when they promised so we would make it back onboard in time. A 10 out of 10!

Great zipline crew - The meeting place near the cruise ship had nothing to indicate it was the right location, which was a little scary until we met another 2 families there. The ride in the open-air vehicle was fun. The guys who ran the ziplines were AMAZING! They were really fun and very safe. After the rides they try to sell you photos and hold you hostage in their restaurant for about an hour. We brought crackers and water and waited them out.

We were cruising with our... - We were cruising with our grandchildren and did this with them. We are in our late 60’s so we were a bit unsure and uneasy about it initially, but it turned out to be really fun and we had a blast. The crew was top notch, knowledgeable and friendly and they made the experience really fun for us. You do want to bring bug spray or wear long pants though, our grandkids wouldn’t listen and they got bit.

Zip Line in PV - This excursion is not too far from the PV port and is tucked up in the mountain just south of Puerto Vallarta. The entrance is a bit confusing if you drive yourself. The is not really a checkin area and no one to greet you but eventually someone came to tell us the wait for the rest of the group and they would get us ready for the adventure. Guides were informative and fun during the Zip line adventure. Good amount of t of Zips to traverse and an overall good experience!
