Very enjoyable city tour - My whole family really enjoyed this city tour with CityFun Tastic. Our guide Daniel was fantastic, both knowledgeable and enthustiastic, and our driver Jamie did an excellent job. While we enjoyed pretty much everything about the tour, the standout for us was the resteraunt where we had lunch. Not only was the food excellent, but they had a number of rescued animals there, and for the price of any donation you cared to make, you could hold a snake and a toucan, and pet and feed a squirrel monkey and some marmosets. My daughters absolutely loved that. I would highly recomend this tour.

Pretty lengthy tour but... - Pretty lengthy tour but you cover a lot of ground (walking and driving) Daniel (Tour Guide) was awesome! He had a group of Spanish/English passengers and he explained all info in both languages.

A lot of walking so where... - A lot of walking so where some comfortable shoes. Our guide, Daniel, was very personable, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We were not able to walk the Malrcon boardwalk due to the high tides caused by Hurricane Priscilla. E prepared for the pushy jewelry sales people. Overall, it was good walking and Tequila tasting tour

DID NOT WANT THIS PROMO TOUR TO END!!! - Daniel had an amazing personality and sense of humor but most of all, my family appreciated his knowledge of the history of Puerto Vallarta and surrounding areas. We learned so much about the culture and background of the people here. Daniel was very talented in that he did a tour in English and Spanish. This was a MUST DO for visitors!!!!!! We traveled to jewelry shops, leather shops, candy shops, tequila & coffee shops…..he kept us laughing and all 7 strangers felt close at the end of the tour. It was fun!!!

Great sample of P V area. - Great sampling of PV area! Guide was knowledgeable of area and shared it well in very good english. If you are handicapped it may not be the tour for you. Danielle our guide was late to pick us up and didn’t communicate his location or ask ours. We tried to communicate but the app and info was inadequate. I didn’t have a phone number to call! Took a cab to PV at our own expense for 500 peso and finally after we had passed the Sheraton where we were finally called and told to meet and had to backtrack to. Overall the pickup at Vidanta was very poor!

Great way to meet new friends - Our tour guide Daniel was very sweet & informative. There were some great shops & cultural stops but we spent far too long at the jewelry shop & was a constant "sell" pressure - which was the same at the leather store. The tequila stop was excellent - Miguel was wonderful. The best thing about the trip was the people in our group - we became fast friends.

A nice tour to start our first-time PV visit - Overall we had a good time on this tour. We planned to use it as a way to find interesting spots to return to another day on our own. We did exactly that. There are various stops at retailers. The candy shop and tequila stops were the most interesting for us. Venturing out on our own, we found that there are so many awesome vendors in the "city market" area where the candy shop is located. Had we relized this we might've ventured a bit during this stop on the tour. If I were the tour operator, I would choose a different place for the food at the end. It was a little bar/lunch place that was combined with an "animal sanctuary" which kind if smelled bad. I was SO EXCITED for the animal stop, but it didn't live up to my hopes and expectations. The donkey we saw at the tequila stop was a better attraction. I will warn that the walk might be a little tough for older or less mobile folks. There is one little bridge in particular where my partner had to help an older woman across, because we were afraid she might fall. For a first time trip to PV, it was nice to identify key touristy spots that we came back to a couple of days later. While on the tour we purchased two tequila bottles, we found a yummier candy shop just a block or two away from the one we stopped at and also found some really great souvenirs in the city market area. In my opinion, some solo shopping time at the city market and lunch at "El Campanario" or "Casa Tradicional" would have been a much better end to the tour than the animal place.
