Don’t miss! - This experience was fabulous! Fabian, the owner, has created a beautiful space for learning about butterflies. He’s very passionate and it comes through. We even got to release some butterflies! He took us to one of his favorite places for lunch and that was really fun also. Highly recommend.

Fluttering wings of beauty and hope - This is a beautiful, relaxing way to enjoy the natural wonders of Mexico. Fabian teaches about the butterfly lifecycle. You feel and see the magic of nature as you release a butterfly and watch it flutter into the air together with your dreams and hopes for the world. Thank you Fabian.

Definitely Recommend the Tour with Lunch and transport. - It was a wonderful experience, from the pickup at our hotel, to the tour, lunch and then the return to our hotel. Fabian is very passionate about his work at the Butterfly Garden and provided us with a lot of information about the plants and insects in the garden. We have been to many Butterly gardens around the world and have never had someone provide us with so much information about all the objects in the Garden and how they interact with one another. He limits the group size for each tour, so it feels more personal. The lunch was wonderful and we were able to learn so much about his journey, from starting the garden by himself with a few workers/helpers, to his vision for the future. His operation is funded entirely by ticket sales and donations and he has done a wonderful job so far. He was in the process of adding a Museum to the garden and had just added Wi-Fi to the area. A great way to spend a few relaxing hours.

Learning and Fun with Butterflies - This was truly a great experience, I highly recommend for solo travel and family with children. Fabian was friendly and knowledgeable; I learned a lot about butterflies and how essential they are to us.

Great tour to support local conservation efforts! - So wonderful to see people committed to protecting butterflies and the environment. Informative tour, great communication to set up transport from our hotel, and then got to enjoy lunch with our guide. Recommend this tour and supporting their mission!

A beautiful and engaging... - A beautiful and engaging experience. Fabian and Erika are awesome and we had a wonderful day learning about butterflies, their life cycle and predators. Wish I could give 10 stars- definitely worth it!

Loved the Private Tour - We booked the tour directly through the Sanctuary not through a booking tour group. We did not have lunch there. We enjoyed the private tour and we got to release two butterflies. I liked that these are native butterflies...not ones they buy and raise.

A special day! Educational and personal. - This was a highlight of our time in Puerto Vallarta! Fabian and his team have created the most beautiful sanctuary for the butterflies and experience for those who value conservation. We loved learning about the genesis of the project, how it's evolved and what is in store for the future. We saw so many gorgeous butterflies and learned about their lifecycles, what plants they like, what predators threaten them, and we got to see a butterfly laying eggs, a newly hatched butterfly drying itself, and got to release three-hour old butterflies. After our tour, Fabian took us to a local restaurant where we had the best Mexican lunch and had time to get to know each other. It was a very special day! The transportation to and from was seamless and Erika was great.
