A fun and refreshing locals' hike - Juan is the best local guide – very friendly, welcoming and attentive. We give him 5 stars! However, a note of caution about the hike itself – it’s about a 20 min. bus ride to the trail entrance - this is a locals’ hike to a locals’ place – it is somewhat easy to start, but there are many, many rocks and you must “hike around” them. If you have any kind of serious knee or ankle issues, you must be careful and watch every step you take. You do hike around some very big rocks and cross about 5-6 streams before you get to the waterfall. The waterfall jump is also surrounded by rocks and you must scale them in order to make the jump. For those who do not want to jump, you can wade in shallower parts, but it is still quite rocky. Recommend you use mosquito repellant! We saw local families, everyone was young, healthy, and active if that gives you some perspective as to who this trail is for.

Diego was such a fun tour... - Diego was such a fun tour guide to be with !! If it wasn’t for him I wouldn’t have felt as comfortable as we did on our hike. Amazing and beautiful view! Gracias Diego !! I definitely recommend! *side note - don’t get on the bus without the tour guide arriving and meeting you at the spot*

Great activity for active adventurers - Juan was a great guide! He gave us some great local insights and showed my son where to do a rock jump into the waterfall pool. FYI: The trail was quite rocky & we crossed rocks multiple times. I recommend wearing good shoes that can get wet. A great activity for teens or for active adults.

Tropical trail to hidden Falls and ocean views - Our tour with Diego was absolutely unforgettable! From start to finish, they made the entire experience both exciting and safe. We started off hiking through a tropical forest, following a riverbed surrounded by lush greenery and the sounds of nature. The trail led us to a stunning waterfall where we got to swim with fish—truly magical! After that refreshing break, we continued our hike up the mountain to a breathtaking scenic overlook. The view from the top was incredible—a panoramic stretch of dense forest meeting the deep blue ocean. It was the perfect mix of adventure, natural beauty, and peaceful moments. Diego was knowledgeable, fun, and super attentive to everyone in the group. If you’re looking for an authentic and awe-inspiring outdoor experience, this tour is a must!

Beautiful waterfall hike - This excursion was awesome! Diego did a great job with our group. The views were great! Weary good shoes that can get wet! The water was cool and refreshing! Would highly recommend! We had to take a taxi from the cruise terminal to the meeting point (20-30 minutes away $35). Then Diego helped us get a taxi back to the port $10) Great price, great excursion!

The views are beautiful from the top of the waterfall - The place was very beautiful, my partner and I were fascinated by the view of the waterfall and the quite relaxing swim. Our guide Alex Reyes was in charge of our tour, and I consider this one of the best experiences due to his pleasant personality.
