old man in the jungle - The hike is not overly strenous it is up a river and you have to cross it several times so be prepared to have wet feet. Water sandles are probably best. The falls are great and very refreshing. The hike is not long and is good exercise without being exausting. Our guide Juan aka "Jonny Jungle" was fantastic his knowledge of the area was boundless as was his energy. His confident guidence and patience with the group of varying skill lavels made the hike safe and fun. I Would go again and I would recomend it to a friend. My name is Paul and this is an honest review.

Wonderful waterfall hiking - It was not too easy but lots of fun. Alex was awesome and knowledgable, explain the flora and fauna of the place. I got mosquitos bites but it was ok. I was able to swim in the waterfall. It was refreshing. I will do it again if I have a chance to do it.

It was amazing experience... - It was amazing experience with Juan! The hike itself was not a lot of distance but the path was full of natural rock formations which made it a more natural experience. The waterfall swim was amazing as well. The natural spring water was very clear and refreshing. There was viewpoint hike up the hill coming back which was very tiring but definitely worth it! Juan explained everything about the plants and fauna on our hike which made the experience more enjoyable. I'd definitely recommend it.

Gorgeous hike! - Isaac and Francisco were excellent guides. They brought us through a gorgeous path along the river to a waterfall. And then to a beautiful view of PV from above. They took pics and videos for our family, gave us fruit as a snack. Since there were 2 guides, we could split the group - some wanted to wade through the shallow river while others wanted to stay up on rocks bc we didn’t have water shoes. They were willing to be flexible based on the needs of our group. This was one of the highlights of our trip. I highly recommend you go! Mt advice is to wear water shoes that have grip for hiking on slippery rocks and use bug spray!

Good - It was a good activity. The guy knows what he is doing. We swam at the waterfall. The views are nice. The trip activity was both in English and Spanish. We had sufficient stops on the trail.

It was ok - The hike was more difficult than we thought ; we are healthy 28yo and it was challenging. The waterfall was pretty crowded and cold but that was just the time of year (Christmas)

Very rocky, pretty technical intermediate+ hike to nice waterfall with natural pool - Very and pretty technical hike to the waterfall. The waterfall at the end was worth it but I did not love the hike itself. There are many water crossings so wear sport sandals or water shoes if you don’t want your hiking shoes to get soaked. I ended up walking through all the water crossings but did not love that. I also don’t like scrambling- bouldering on rocks so it was not great for me

BEWARE OF DANGEROUS TRAIL TO WATERFALL - The problem was not the crowded, dirty public bus that was used to take us to and from the”trail”. The problem was with the trail itself — unmarked, rocky, and requiring 3 crossings of the rocky river leading up to the waterfall. Oh, be sure to wear shoes that can get submerged. My partner slipped on the rocks in the river and fell in. I’d recommend using a hiking pole. All that said, the waterfall at the top was pretty. And it was a nice chance to get away from the bustling, hectic Zona Romantica. But there must be safer ways to explore nature around here.
