Location
Calle Puerto Base
We are in the Puerto Base (left port in Puerto Rico facing the sea). You can reach both the GC 500 road and the GC 1 motorway. When you reach the entrance of the port (which is also a parking lot) you just have to go straight for about 90 meters to reach the "Spirit of the Sea"

We will come back. - It was a wonderful experience for the whole family. Despite the fact that I felt dizzy on the way back it was very exciting, the crew was accommodating and sweet. We were lucky to see a Delphine family shortly after we took off from the harbor.

Dolphin watching - We booked a trip but unfortunately the weather wasn't great and we didn't see anything. However, we were offered a free of charge second chance which we were able to take and saw some dolphins, a turtle and some flying fish. Good people on the boat. and the shore.

Great option for families - Incredible. We did loads of research on the various options for dolphin watching on the south coast of Gran Canaria and this one worked best for us with a 3 year old (it’s only 2 to 2 and a half hours long and it’s a big, stable boat with seats and room to walk about). We couldn’t be more delighted with our choice. We saw hundreds of dolphins (the captain said 300-400). The views from the top deck are great, but the main deck level got us so close to the dolphins we were amazed. Then we went below deck to see the dolphins underwater which was nothing short of magical quite frankly. The staff were great with our young child and we found the QR codes on the back of every seat gave us links to all the info we needed. Our top tip is to pop to the pharmacy before the trip to get some preventive sea sickness tablets. They saved us!

Amazing to be able to contemplate these creatures from pampering and respect. - Expectations more than exceeded, when the respect and pampering with which the boat approaches these adorable cetaceans prevails, without leaving aside the pleasant crossing where you see the crew with their binoculars reporting on the place where we have been, in addition you see a multitude of flying fish or large turtles, certainly to repeat, because no crossing is the same as another.

Fine boat trip, no dolphins seen - Great boat trip, friendly crew. Helpful especially for my girlfriend who got sick, was a rough sea and they let the boat float on it. No dolphins seen but a voucher given for a new free boat trip valid for one year.

Rough sea but saw dolphins - Saw lots of dolphins on the boat tour however, the sea was so rough and a vast majority were all sea sick on board including ourselves so it was hard to enjoy the experience. The crew were quick with the sick bags though so seems they were prepared.

Hell ride at sea u without animal sighting - Apart from the friendly and helpful staff, who have constantly handed out Brecht bags, unfortunately we can report nothing positive. We did not see any whales or dolphins, in high seas the trip was not cancelled before, from minute one it was an ordeal. And then it all took three hours. We were absolutely sick, we sat under a blanket tense in the strong wind for three hours in a corner. It was horror, and then you were offered vouchers for the next time. Never again!
